Former tanker here, as someone who has seen and experienced the war itself, I just would like to say that the Ukrainian people are giving a war for their existence and unfortunately, I personally feel ashamed when I see the laughable numbers of the military equipments an the vehicles sent to "support" Ukraine, especially the air defense systems during these very days. Their cities are being bombed, not only the line of contacts, their cities, their capital, all of'em. Just imagine you are having dinner with your wife, your family, your children and no matter where you are, where you live in the country, all of a sudden cruise missiles start falling to your neighbourhood, your house from miles away. Ukrainian people are fighting the evil itself. The size of the evil is about a continent, 74% larger than the United States. The number of the air defense systems sent is very, very low. Please raise your voice and ensure the necessary help is sent to Ukraine.

I must admit, during the start when he could only address nations via video calls, it was an effective means to reach the outside world during dark times. but as time went on it felt less effective and too distant, just a man on a screen. hearing and seeing him address in person to congress feels like the spark has come back and even in such times he made the effort to be there. well done zelenskeyy. it'd be great to see you in UK parliment.

He spake of the essential help the US has given for Ukraine's freedom and our European and worldwide democratic allies against Russian mean-spirited terror. When Russia couldn't win on the battlefield it rained missiles and Iran-supplied drone attacks on Ukraine's grid. Millions there are without power, heat or running water. Now we pray for victory for Ukraine as we enter the Christmas holiday weekend.

India like China is basically neutral. They won't send millitary aid but they have no choice but to buy Russian oil and gas... tho they are buying it at a heavy discount so it's not exactly beneficial to Russia

Lol when russia invaded georgia and crimea european countries which are allies were still buying russian gas you guys had no problem but when India China does suddenly you get a stomachache. Biggest hypocrites. If USA dosen't want countries to buy oil from russia why don't they remove sanctions from iran and venezuela or else provide oil at similar rates as russia is providing.
