7:43 The Newton's Cradle is a demonstration of the Laws of Conservation of Momentum and Energy. The balls used in them are small, metal, but most importantly inelastic. This means there isn't much squish or deformation caused to them in the collision so they transfer their momentum fairly perfectly. Most of the energy they lose when colliding is from producing sound and heat which will eventually cause them to stop if you leave them swinging long enough. Anyway, back to TotK. The game does follow the Law of Conservation of Momentum (or ar least momentum seems to be largely preserved in most physics interactions). This looks like what you'd expect a Newton's Cradle to act like if you used an elastic material for the balls like something soft or that will easily dent or crumple. The first ball does lose its momentum, but it also kind of "sticks" to the others, the energy is transferred wildly, and there's probably a lot of kinetic energy being lost in the collision from various sources. I saw a follow-up post on Reddit from this same guy where he tried it without the railings to see if it had to do with their weird physics, but not much changed. I would expect the big, solid metal balls to be very inelastic. It's not the size of the balls that's the issue either; we have working Newton's Cradles that use bowling balls. If anything this shows that TotK materials don't always act quite how we'd expect. I've also found some oddities with the interaction between gravity, normal forces, and multiple moving objects so the physics doesn't always act how we'd expect either.

The trend of Ganondorf's AI being stumped by random bullshit items is still going strong

@@budgetcoinhunter I don't believe so. As far as I know, the only asset in the game is a partial port of Ganondorf's data from Ocarina of Time labeled "fisherman". Maybe someone clever has figured out a way to do it, but I haven't seen it.

Newton’s Cradle might work if there are two things connecting the balls instead of one. I don’t claim to know all the physics behind it but the force gets transferred the way it does because there are limitations to where the balls can travel in a Newton’s Cradle. May also work by having the attachment at the top; though getting it aligned precisely might be maddening.

That wrong note in the hammer bros song... will haunt me for the rest of the day.

I have a war crime that is similar, but I attach a flame emitter to the inside and trap a King Bokoblin, and then attach a shock emitter to the outside. Results in it constantly getting burned and electrocuted alternately.

If anyone wants wants to make a war crime wagon for their horse, here is what you need. 1 small zonai wheel, 2 stabilizers stacked on top, construct head and atleast 8 beam emitters. Attach this to your tow harness and enjoy. It will go as fast as your horse and won't ever fall over. The extra heighth from the 2nd stabilizer will also keep the lasers from killing your horse.

Some of this clips I've seen in other compilations, but what makes them unique between each compilation are the narrations, added sound effects, "custom" dialogues and music. Plus camera effects, like the "FF >>". Take, for example 2:00. The narration gives it a different tone than, for instance, moaning. Or creaming. Or swearing. Each give a distinct personality to the clip, and tell you a bit about the editors.

7:33 actually this is accurate. Myth busters tested a viral video of a newtons cradle using construction cranes that was made with cg. They slowly scaled up the newtons cradle to see if the video would be possible and found the larger the scale the worse it performed. So by using these rather large and heavy objects in totk the lackluster result is realistic.

The Newton's cradle IRL and in TotK both follow conservation of momentum. However, the degree to which collisions are more or less elastic or inelastic and can therefore transfer momentum is dependent upon the material of the balls. The balls in TotK model materials that collide inelastically. Kinetic energy is lost to the surroundings.

If you put 2 stakes in the ground one of the stakes at a 45 degree angle facing the other stake then bring them close and use ultrahand to fuse them together then take them out it spins pretty fast and I have an idea for powerless flight for this one where you put the stakes under a propeller from the geminik shrine and a wooden wheel under the stakes that may give you power less flight if that doesn't maybe add more stake on top of each other that may work I would like to see builds use this and this may be a huge breakthrough

I think they have already covered the spinning stakes glitch when you merge them together unfortunately it didn't seem to provide enough strength to properly spin the propeller even when stacked but there may be a way that people figure out eventually
