I just hope that someone makes a Majora's mask based Doctor Who episode. Where the moon gets a face, of course, and the doctor gies back three days in time just when the moon is about to fall, but eventually confronts someone that resembles the Skull kid, and saves the day. Whoa, that could be a dark and awesome Doctor Who episode.

The_Swedish_Laptop Doctor Who is more of a saturday evening romp. A Majora's Mask storyline would be too dark for it.

Found this ten years ago. Still stands as one of my favorite songs.

At 3:43, i can imagine Link going to the observatory and taking one last look at the moon. Then the Moon's Tear falls and Link goes outside to examine it. He picks it up, and then looks at the moon one more time. From this close, he puts the pieces together and realizes that the Moon's expression was not an angry one, as many had believed, but a grimace. The moon's in pain and is scared. One more thing for Link to save.

epic and beautiful, i can see it too in fact when i first played the game and got the moon tear i thought that the moon was crying because the skull kid was forcing it to fall and crash on to earth nice to see that i was not the only one thinking that the moon was a victim and not an enemy.

Really love how the Astral Observatory theme got integrated. Excellent touch.

honestly my favorite final hours remix it captures the "this is the end" feel more then the original in my opinion

This gave me chills. And when you incorporated the astral theme near the end, those chills had chills. One of the best non-official Zelda tracks I’ve heard. You’re an artist. PSA: Do yourself favor and listen with headphones. Let the bass at the end flow through you.

You also put at ease the deceased spirits of the four temples, you command a dead army and defeat their king, you battle undead Ninjas, save a man from becoming a Gibdo, and so on and so forth. Death is Inevitable, and Everywhere, in Majora's Mask.

I may have already said this, but I reckon it might be a dream link had, as there are quite a number of similarities to Hyrule, but also the kind of obsurdities you might only get in dreams. I can't accept the idea that Link would be dead. It's a game for the younger gamers, after all. And despite MM's creepy/doomed nature, I don't think it'd be an appropriate possibility for the main character, the one the gamer plays as, to be dead. I do hope Nintendo go through with the remake, but I still say it should be for 3DS. It'd make an excellent portable game.

Excellent, excellent. So often remixes lose the magic of the original piece, and for me, touching Majora's Mask music is treading on sacred ground. But my god sir, you pulled it off. Bravo.

This is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!! :-O I LOVE IT!! :-) Thank you so very much including many others for inspiring and helping me to leave my comfort zone, unlock and discover a hidden creative side within me and try making similar things like this of my own :-) I have to confess some of the works are not my own but I had a part and some little credit in creating the videos to upload :-) I actually have Aspergers so maybe in a sense this makes this all even more special :-) I think things like this involving video games can be a huge thing for Autistic people like myself :-) Keep up the great work and thank you so very much once again!! :-) 👍 X

I've heard so many remixes of Last Day that they've all begun to blend together in my mind. This is so much different. It not only stands out from the crowd, but it actually made me feel as if I were hearing the track for the first time. It drew out buried memories my first wonderful moments playing Majora's Mask when I was just a little kid and let me relive them vividly. For that, I thank you. If you manage to apply the same brilliance to Calling the Four Giants, it might melt my ears off!

@JeffsterProductions I'm not sure what you mean. Do you mean the vocal choir? Well, whatever it is, basically, yes. :P I used a lot of synths to make this. I think I like making Ambient more than anything else because it requires you to think more and you can't mask your work with pre-made kicks and loops. So I'm still damn proud I got this finished. :)

Crazy how we still come back to the old games

This was by far one of the best games i've ever played, the music, the gameplay, story, and everything else rolled up into a 10 gallon container of kickass in 1/2 gallon can. Long Live LoZ!

This song always reminds me that no matter what you do, you always feel like its all for nothing, why are you trying, only a couple minutes left until the moon hits the world. But then you remember all the people Anju,Kafei,The three spirits that are in your masks,and Zelda who you promised that you would return to Hyrule one day. So you get up, grab your sword and start running up to the clock tower to have one final face off with skull kid.

Great mix. 3:46 It’s striking how seamlessly Moonlight Sonata fits with the observatory music here, and feels very reminiscent of Oath to Order. Was that an intentional reference, or just the result of adapting Oath to fit the melody of the observatory? In either case, it gives some insight into the way some of the music for this game was composed.

Always flattering to read comments like these. I wonder about the possibility of an alternate Zelda soundtrack. I've done one with Streets Of Rage 1 (it's called Streets Of Wrath, and I'm attempting the whole trilogy).
