This is why US and European legacy automakers are terrified and their governments are imposing ridiculous tariffs on Chinese EVs.

I prefer the design of ZEEKR, but my friend who is a fanatic of electric cars said that according to him, the interior finish is much better in NIO.

Just like when we played electric car circuits as kids? Driving gives some kind of freedom. It would not be the same feeling if we were attached to the power grid.

I'm not a big fan of all these digital screens. I much prefer analog dials but Chinese autos are without a doubt the future.

To be honest, I agree with you, but this may be a generation related issue. The younger ones, who grew up with screens in their hands probably would not accept anything digital in a recent product. And indeed, I agree, Chinese cars are the future, not only because of technology, Europe and USA can do the same, but more because they offer a perfect interior/exterior design, full options, at a relatively affordable price if you compare with European brands for example.
