Zeb's Ingredients: 2 1/2 cups old-fashioned rolled oates 8 ounces of apple sauce 3/4 cup Walnuts ; finely chopped 1/4 cup Flaxseed meal 1/2 zest of Orange & 1/2 zest of Lemon 1/2 to 3/4 teaspoon ground Cinnamon 1 medium Banana chopped into 3 parts 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract 1 to 1 1/2 cups Almond Milk All ingredients are combined & poured into power blender ,then batter is poured into a waffle maker to grill and then serve.

We have just recently turned to a plant based lifestyle and found Jane and Anne’s incredible channel. We have tried so many things already with great success. The vegan bacon, the Saukraut kale sandwiches, corn chips, ( we already make a fermented hummus that is always in the fridge)

The way Anne talks to & about him, you can tell that he is her "baby." So sweet!!! The waffles look fantastic as well! I will try these for sure!!

Typically cook the waffles until the steam stops coming out of the side, and that means that they're finished! Usually anywhere from 4-6 minutes. I usually set a timer for 4 minutes and then watch until the steam is gone, then get them out. I read that a few years ago when I first started making waffles and it seemed like my plant based ones never got cooked enough until I started following that tip.

Wow does he look like his dad! Another great recipe, plus any excuse to use my Vitamix. Perfect for fall breakfast!

@@donnadallariva8377 I think you could use something like cooked sweet potato, or canned pumpkin (a little more liquidy), somewhat close to the texture of a banana. Not as sweet as a really ripe banana.

We've been cooking/eating Zeb's Waffles a couple of times a month since we went WFPB in June of 2017 and I bought Plant Strong! So yummy! I don't usually add the orange zest-only because we very seldom have them in the house when I need them! I also add the walnuts to the top along with some strawberries and blueberries. Family favorite!

This looks like a great recipe and I am going to dig out my cast iron waffle iron and give it a shot. I make a simple blackberry sauce for our pancakes and waffles.

I made Zeb's Waffles today and they are so delicious!! I love the cookbooks you guys make and I'm so thrilled to have these videos to inspire me to try the next recipe. Keep up the incredibly inspiring work!

Thanks for this recipe! I made these waffles yesterday - fantastic! I had a leftover waffle today which I heated in my air fryer. It might have been even better! Syrup has a big glycemic impact on me so I made a topping of frozen mixed berries (thawed) and blended with a couple dates. Heated this up on the stove until it thickened. It’s delicious on these waffles!

I’m looking forward to making these waffles.

As the batter sits and thickens between waffles do you add more liquid?

Looks delicious. They look good enough to eat without syrup! Would probably go great with a glass of fresh squeezed orange juice.
