@@Vesryn240 To add to this comment, one of the developers actually said they didn't want to make on because they don't want to divide the playerbase with solo players. As if there is enough people able to solo to drain the queues lol

Just when I picked up the game again to level up Zealot and figure out weapons. I was curious how the other axes faired in comparison to the Atrox Mk II, and this seems like a good showcase for the Mk V. Good runs.

If the rest of darktides community had a fraction of your skills i could understand why theyre upset theres no official true solo mode but these guys need all the help they can get, even if its with bots.

The poxbuster at 6:55 is a real hero

just remembered a possibly helpful thing i learned, zelot ability lowers armor class of things your shooting. meaning if you have a high damage autogun like the shredder pistol, you can use your abilities and shoot their faces and it treats them as basically flak or something and kills in like 20~ bullets give or take your guns perks and blessings. i use Continuous fire & damage with stagger both af tier 3. might be useful to know idk

Very well balanced weapon selections. The biggest risk to the axe are multiple ragers and mutants. That makes the shredder a pretty good way to balance. I'm wondering if the thrust blessing on the axe is bugged like on the thunder hammer.

Thrust bug is fixed now atleast on the hammer. 99.9% sure they also fixed thrust on the other weapons because you used to be able to 1-2 shot bulwarks with the combat axe.

Honestly the only thing I need to do more is retreat when necessary like you do. I insist on staying in the fight it gets me killed alot when i could've just pulled back instead

Staying in the fight is not a bad thing. The only way to be able to make the decision to pull back temporarily is probably to experience some failures.

What blessings and what not you have on those weapons. Be cool to have a showcase at the beginning 👋

Hey, would it be possible to get a list or image of your skill layout? I tried following the link to your build but it shows the skilltree as empty (without a single skillpoint)?

I don't get it. Do critical hits work and proc on cleave?

I play this game with xbox. Hiw ot is possible to ülay a solo game. The game isn't very smart created. I dont find the option to play, solo. Or how to do it. I also have an exclamation mark on the equipment and I can't find where it is or what I have to do to remove it or what the exclamation mark means. Perhaps some Chain weapons. These are nerve wracking not only in Solo but also in normal fights.

What skin is that on the axe? I've never seen it in game 😅

That's a feat almost all Zealots take. Once they eat a hit that would down them, the feat activates and makes them immortal for a few seconds. All the damage they deal transfers into healing them during that time, with melee damage healing even more than normal. It's supposed to be a 2nd chance perk, to help them out when they've screwed up, but a lot of times injured Zealots will intentionally activate it when a horde comes because they're confident they'll get a full heal and not die until the feat is back up. It's so insanely fun.

Did the big E just heal you at 7:39?? Because as far as I know only medipacks and med stations can heal and you used none but still got healed. that a zealot perk?

WHO WOULD WIN: A hive city corrupted by the dark powers of plague father nurgle himself, the entirety of its impossibly large structure filled with corrupted former citizens, madmen, mutant abominations and an entire legion of highly trained guardsmen turned traitors. OR An Irish tomboy with an axe to grind

Note to self, leave the poxbursters alive for as long as possible if there are other elites around.

Just today I was talking with a friend about how NOBODY uses the Shredder Pistol because it's a bad weapon considering all the other better options you have at your disposal. And yet, here comes chocoB, breaking the rules while breaking some heretic heads. Very nice run brother, you never disappoint. Could you let me know which blessings are you using for the Shredder Pistol? I'm curious.

Just a little fun fact as well but the autopistol actually isn't a bad weapon at all! In fact if you've been paying attention recently, it seems the autopistol is being considered meta and is far more used now. I don't personally care for meta and never did, but I just thought I'd let you know about it since it is in fact considered very good

id like to imagine if the 40k universe had more people like this things might not be completely doomed. the idea that even just one person can do solo missions like this while being completely normal just a random reject is beyond the feat of your average guardsmen. you probably dont see many like the characters we play as tho because our faith waned and were just rejects.

I dare you to play at high level with no friends.
