A few of us polish, romanians, Italians,Moldavian’s, Serbians, Croatians and much more, we went to our local Irish pub, Everyone was prepared for Eurovision. Everything lovely, until MOLDOVA started this song. Everyone went mental. One of the most crazy Things I’ve seen. All night people were dancing.

@@vicycuptor5285 yeah, that was kinda messed up. Granted, Eastern European countries other that Ukraine have rarely won Eurovision anyway. Which is pretty ok since Eurovision must be super expensive to hold, but still a bit if a bummer that you're always 99% doomed from the start anyway. Sorry for being a comment section bummer btw :)) it just hits sometimes Moldavians were amazing 🔥 and knowing the language makes it even better!

same band Zdob si Zdub , Eurovision 2005 (song: Bunica bate toba) , Eurovision 2011 (song: So Lucky) ,and Eurovision 2022 (song: Trenuletul) and these songs ,represent romanians (moldovans are part of romanian culture, same core ,same language) how we are , always searching for parties all night long ,fun , joy , never upset...

Yes, the atmosphere in the arena completely changed during this song and the audience was electric for the rest of the show because of this song. They completely changed the energy. Just when the Eurosong was getting too monotone with too many nothing special ballads Moldova showed up and carried the show. Haha those were my thoughts, Moldova saved the show that night.

Songs like this are the reason I watch Eurovision. This IS the Eurovision song. Glad it placed very high.

Poland in 2016 got 8 jury points and 222 televote ones

I don't know how this sounds to a Westerner, but for me as Romanian this is one hell of a performance on Eurovision. It's going straight in the history of Eurovision.✌

I’m from the UK and this was my favourite! I loved my own country’s song but this was so upbeat and different compared to the rest of 2022. These are the types of songs I love, where the audience is up on their feet and singing along too

It was the best moment when Moldova rose from the bottom when they got over 200 points from the public hahaha. The public knows what's up ;) congrats Moldova, this performance is the highest level of entertainment!!

The romanian jury decided to give Moldova 12 points but the transmission during voting was cut off unexpectedly and a substitute from the Esc jury decided to give the points to Ukraine instead. Romanians were unaware of that. We are still waiting for explanations from Turin. We are sorry Moldova, you rocked. Love from Romania

The Moldovan jury also gave 12 points to Ukraine and 0 to Romania. Very suspicious. They already knew Ukraine was gonna get a shitload of televotes even if they farted for 3 minutes on stage. Did they need the jury vote to be high enough so there wasn't too big of a difference between jury and public?

Still love this song, and the 2023 Moldova entry was really good too, even though it was completely different in style again. Moldova, and Norway, are my two 'Eurovision adopted countries'. Both countries seem to understand the 'Eurovision fan brief' and produce excellent quirky crowd pleasing songs. Can't wait to see what they give us in 2024.

THIS is what Eurovision should be! None of those ballads to cry to, we need THIS! Especially with how bleak many of our lives have become with what's up in the world, we would be better off with atleast having fun while Eurovision is around, and Moldova definitely proved this year that we NEED more of this! 12 points from 🇭🇷 ! ♥️

They deserved to be in TOP 3, it's a shame and pitty that jury gave them only few points, on the other side televoters recognized them and I'm so glad ❣ When I heard them on first semi-finals I was sure they will be in finals and in grand final they completely blew me away, they had my vote 100% and become my favorite 💃💥🇲🇩

Actually, Romania' s Jury gave the 12 points to Moldavia. But they weren't allowed to enter the live stream so they can say whom they gave their points to. They also received an announcement that there are some "vote procedure irregularities "in regards to 6 country-participants and those countries' votes are cancelled. They didn't give any details and, at the moment, Romania' s Jury is trying to get an answer for what really happened.

@@P.D.703 Basically, several countries were excluded from the jury vote, and the decision on where those points would go was made by the organizers. Because more points had to go to Ukraine...
