I was born in 1960 and grew up with Beatles and all but this’ll be the song with the history. This song still makes me in tears for joy and compassion.

our country will never have your vote than. in 2021, not only did we not use our language, but used french. when french isn't even our language. just because the singer we got was a french singer who was just born in our country and lived there for 5 years and than moved to france. why? he's literally clinging on to the flute for the whole thing, only to play one note at the end.
Even a year after this is so emotional and heartbreaking and awesome. I guess my favourite Ukraine's representatives in Eurovision so far. Though there were so many awesome ones: Verka Serduchka, Ruslana, Jamala, Go A.
Fun fact: Ihor (the double bass guy and main composer of this song) got a second place from the public last year with Go_A and first place this year.

Epic Telynka guy :) In the hands of the vocalist is a Ukrainian instrument - Telynka. It differs from others in that it has no holes like a flute or sopilka (another Ukrainian folk instrument). The sound is produced by clamping the other side of the instrument (as Tymofiy plays)

For me It's always a big plus when countries perform in their native languages. Brings so much more of a feeling of different countries and cultures coming together to contribute towards an enjoyable togetherness and camaraderie between people of different nations. (plus tbh it's often better when you don't actually know what the lyrics mean as you can enjoy the emotion of the song and make an assumption about the meaning of the lyrics).

The chorus gives me shivers every time. Yes the current situation may have influenced the voting but this song is indeed one of the best songs of Eurovision this year. I appreciate very much the artists who sing in their native language.
