Iceberg is an old favorite of mine and I'm glad that you included it in the deck! I'd be tempted to add Pemmin's Aura and Free from the Real to enable infinite mana combos too

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed that trip down memory lane :P Pemmin's Aura and Freed from the Real are some epic includes for going infinite since they go infinite all on their own with just Zaxara.

Don’t forget about Jarad, sac an infinite large hydra for infinite damage and win the game. Favorite win con.

Yes! Those are the best cards for going the infinite mana route!

Rishkar, Peema Renegade and Jiang Yanggu, Wildcrafter would both be good inclusions, letting you tap all your hydra tokens for mana when you aren't attacking with them. As well, Herald of the Secret Streams could potentially be a game winner, letting all those hydras attack unblocked

Looks fun. Although I'm not a fan of all the hydras. Id rather be casting x instants.

Definitely, this deck can be built very competitively since Zaxara is half of an infinite mana combo in the command zone. I just wanted to build a casual deck for this one.

there's something wrong in the video regarding the mana doubling part. leyline of abundance isn't affected by mana reflection or nyxbloom ancient.you're tapping the bird for mana. which causes leyline to give you an extra mana. but that extra mana isn't coming from the bird you tapped so it doesn't get affected. so in your example you'd end up with 1x2x3=6 blue mana and 1 green mana, rather than 6 and 6.

So here’s the thing a lot of people are missing. Doubling season and primal vigor does not get you another giant hydra your creating another 0/0 hydra but the first hydra still gets double the counters. They aren’t copying the whole ability just creating another token

Exactly, you're getting two 0/0's with twice the amount of +1/+1 tokens they'd get.

you do get double the hydras, and double the tokens. it's even in the release notes for ikoria if you'd like to verify it.

I'm surprised you don't have freed from the real or aura's infinite mana in here. Or did you purposely leave them out

Freed from the Real and Pemmin's Aura are definitely a shoe-in for this deck. But I wanted to try something a bit more casual for Zaxara since I made something more competitive with Kinnan. This is why it has a lot of flashy spells.

The 10th fetchland is Prismatic Vista, not the one that won't fetch for anything.
