I don't think the paintings at that price were a scam at all, those designs might not be unique, and some might tend to be a little generic, but they are handmande and it takes a lot of effort to perfectly paint something that cool. I've seen people buying far more expensive fake art paintings and printed stuff on paper for thousands of dollars... These guys are real artists, they spend a lot of effort and time to paint everything perfectly with their own hands. The footbal shirt women do probably scammed him tho...

Instinctively kind and gentle. Without a second thought, he knew to break up the fish. Didn't mind getting his hands dirty. Made sure mama got some. Probably a very good dad.

lol I think the funniest part was when he bought one and as he leaves they're already bringing out the identical painting to hang on the wall again. It's to be expected though, it's the sort of art that gets sold to tourists in every country, it's not meant to be originals

Like honestly those painters deserve what they ask for. Great that you didn't bargain. I am so glad to see that those aren't like china imports or something but honest local artistic craftmanship. To have such a thing at a wall at home frome an experienced guy who is proud of his work, despite living in an other part of the world is the true magic behind artistry and artistic/ cultural communication.

I have visited stonetown and most of Kenya and areas I personally think the paintings are factory products, I visited a factory where they are made . But the shop keeper will look like he paints . It's OK it's business. The tourist will like it . But I love the way you feed the cats I spend my life doing that ,I don't like the markets , but the animals break my heart 💔I love watching you . I can't travel so much now 😫😩😪

Going to Zanzibar in 2 months for my birthday can’t wait to find me a painting 👍🏼👍🏼 throughly enjoyed the vlog.

Damn you, Heraldo! I've been binge watching your vlogs for almost a week now, totally abandoning my own stack of readings (that i vowed to accomplish before i came across this channel).
