The Zandalari also had conflicts with the elves. First with the night elves shortly before the War of the Ancients. The Zandalari lost many of their northern territories to Queen Azshara, but managed to hold the areas surrounding Zuldazar. The second time was during the Troll Wars where they aided the Amani against the high elves. As the war turned to the high elves' favor, the Zandalari didn't want to sacrifice anymore warriors, so they returned to their ships and sailed home. The Zandalari have been involved in many key events of the Warcraft lore.

Bwonsamdi is SOO cool in BFA. I kind of wish Vol'jin could become a "saint" loa somehow but only because he's awesome and I feel like he didn't get enough face time in the game xD

I plan on playing a Zandalari Shaman, probably Enhancement. I really like the idea of my Zandalari Shaman sort of channeling the fury of the Loa through his weapons. I actually didn't know that the Trolls had Loa associated with the elements until I came up with the idea for my Shaman.

Zul’Aman was a raid back in TBC, not a 5-man dungeon - that change didn’t come to pass till Cataclysm. Also; the frost trolls’ first appearance wasn’t in Wrath - they were early mobs in the Dwarf and Gnome starting zone.

The trolls are older than the Nightelves because they are their ANCESTORS!

Before the zul aman and zul gurub being 5 man dungeon in cataclysm, they were both vanilla raids of lvl 60.

The turtle form is actually called an ankylosaurus :) It's an actual dinosaur! The travel form is already a Velo though, so maybe the cat form will be something different

If one had to choose as a player the choice is between humpback stick figures (Dark Spear clan) (excluding the females) whose only real worthwhile skill is a 10% haste buff that last 12 secs with a CD of 3min. The Zandalari trolls are more muscular, stand straight and tall with several racial skills as well as choosing a Loa to worship offering different benefits to fit anyone's play style. Zandalari after all have their own city/zone where the Dark Spear are more or less refuges.

I want to Blood troll to be playable so badly :D

Yes, you bring up a very legit point. They've been mortal enemies since...forever. Seeing as how Blizz has kinda given up on panda lore since MoP, I don't really think they'll bother to rectify this :( which I'm sad about. I think pandas have the potential to add a lot of flavor to the game, even if the player base might not really like them. Pandas are the only race in both factions. BfA is a massive expansion of the battles that took place on Pandaria, battles that the Panda were vehemently against. Why they would support this in any way shape or form...really doesn't make much sense.

I don't really play Horde but I think the Zandalari Trolls are one of the better Allied Races, only behind the Void Elves (cuz ELVES!) and the Dark Irons as nr. 3.

It's true! And that's why I hate people that only play Elves in the Horde faction... I always rolled trolls and I'm so proud of my Darkspear buddies! Despite of the fact the are not considered "cool" :) for da horde!

Kul Tiras sounds like a great idea! I did a video on the Proudmoores, the rulers of Kul Tiras, but not one specifically of the area. I'll try and see if I can get enough info on the area for a video! The big humans would be awesome. They should just enable them as an inherent human customisation option haha.

Watching this makes me wonder why zandalari are allowed to be monks. Being allied to the mogu puts them kinda in-between a healthy relationship with the pandaren, making it kind of hard for zandalari trolls to get teached in being a monk.. am I right?

Yea, you bring up a great point that's been irking me too. Blizzard seems to have just forgotten entirely about Pandaren Lore after MoP. They've been mortal enemies for thousand and thousands of years. Don't just see them shaking hands and making up. Plus, the entire BfA conflict is antithesis to what Pandaren believe in. They were already so against the battles occuring on their island between the Horde and Alliance during MoP. Not sure why if ever they would now agree to take part in a world war.

Same here, I agree with you. The lore is pretty important. But I guess it is a game, first and foremost. So unfortunately they'll have to put gameplay reasons first, I understand. Still, sometimes they do seem to abandon strong lore reasons for very weak gameplay ones, which is when it gets annoying ;)

I have a troll now, I'd love to make a zandalari too but we'll see what they do with the faces, so far the female face I saw was ugly, unlike the trolls we can already play, it's a nice mix of angry, badass and pretty.

Yea i agree, there aren't really that much changes to the zanda female trolls from the current ones. the zanda female faces do come across as a bit monstrous in nature. Definitely stick with your current troll then, if you enjoy it! Not much changes to the current animations too

I don't know about Zanza but Bwonsamdi is not a troll that became a Loa, he just a Loa that took the form of a Troll for whatever reason. He himself said he existed since before the Trolls.

I used quite a few different tracks! Some are from the new zandalari themes coming out in BfA. Others are from Zul Gurub and Zul Aman :)

Dark trolls were the first trolls. All troll tribes come from them according to the chronicles

You are right, novels are usually treated as the most canon of lore. Blizzard like to retcon stuff though, and it gets pretty confusing. In chronicles, Dark Trolls were already a separate group from the Amani even before the aqir war. In the original lore, all the troll tribes gathered together under Zandalar before breaking off after the war.

Your audio needs help. I suggest looking up tutorials for audio editing and quality to improve your channel. Audio should be around -12db and background music around -16 to -18 db. Cheers.
