Wanted Zaha years ago! He is, as you say, a right pain in the arse for opponents, he just pops up in places where he shouldnt be and produces the goods! Now, hes an old boy, as far as I see it, he´s still pretty fit and fast, 10m? Yes, have him all day long!! Will he be a starter every game? Maybe not, but he could be a superb 60 minute sub, a starter for 45 minutes, someone who can put in a shift when its needed. Its a yes from me Gonzo

He's a very good, entertaining player, and I would have loved him at West Ham a few years back. Now, I can't see what motivation he would have for coming to us and performing at his highest level. At this stage of his career, he has nothing to prove in our league. If it's just money, that's not enough for me.

Felt like this with England for years. Can't remember us beating a decent team in a WC since we beat France in 82. I bought the colonel Abraham's album was a shocker. Had a perm in 89 to look like Shaun Ryder too.looked more like Deidre Barlow. Had a purple metallic Capri too.

@@PokerMuppet The bit that made me laugh was right at the end of the video when Gonzo told Merson to “let it go” when discussing Loppy’s predecessor, when he himself has been talking about him in almost every video since he left the club, which was over one month ago! 😂 Merson feels quiet in comparison! Gonzo meanwhile has turned into someone who’s bitter over his ex wife and just won’t move on like the rest of us. We, including myself, are looking forward to seeing what Lopetgui will do and Gonzo’s busy having digs at a man who left weeks ago. 😂 Yes, the news feels a bit samey. I just think Tim and Loopy are trying to get on with things out of the limelight. It’s still early days. Ex even though he does unquestionably get some exclusives he’s turned into a bit of a chancer with his “news”. He uses the broken clock method of chucking a lot of names out so one is right, when in truth I bet about half of them aren’t even on Tim’s list. This results in some getting into a bit of a frenzy. I called Gonzo out for flip-flopping months ago when he couldn't decide if he supported Moyes and wanted him to get a new contract or wanted him out asap and his 'opinion' seemed to change after every game or maybe after a win or loss. He went off on one of his rants saying that he was entitled to his opinions and to change his mind and that my comment was offensive. I pointed out to him that an opinion without facts are meaningless and that if your opinion is constantly changing then you have no conviction and any opinions weren't thought through or valid if you can so easily dismiss them. Ricky Gervais said it very well: 'Opinions don't affect facts, but facts should affect opinions... and do, if you're rational. Gonzo has proven time and again that his views are not rational UNLESS you realise that he makes his living from social media and benefits from clickbait. Many of his posts and comments are nothing but toxicity and actually stir up trouble amongst the fan base and hurt the club that he claims to support. Very hypocritical.

Zaha is a calculated risk. Half a dozen of his bending it in at the far post goals or stuttering pens could win you a cup or high league finish. For 10 mil? No brainer surely? I don't like the idea of Zaha going anywhere near our club. He gives negative vibes and I can't agree about him making a difference to our side. I can see another mid to low table season coming up.

I agree that if its for 10 mil it's a low risk transfer. But not for me personally. He'll be on a high wage. I'd rather spend 15 on a 20 something with lower wages. Not the biggest fan of Zaha, decent player but for me, move onto better targets

Mate, he's exactly the kind if signing we need witha nrw manager at the helm, will he be here in 4 years time? unlikely, but he can make a team tick and is PL proven. He'll orchestrate us being on the front foot and for £10M quid it will be much better than the Kalvin Philips disaster. 2 good years and its extremely good value for money and if we need an additiinal 5/6 players then this for me is a no brainer!
