People who say BvS wasn't a Superman movie but a Batman or JL movie are IDiiOTS. It's very clearly Henry's movie, everything in it revolves around him and he totally killed it. I'm a Batman fan and a big Batfleck fan and I get sad 'cause every BvS reaction is people crying over Superman's death when I think the opening scenes with Bruce's narration and his final reaction and PSTD trigger to Henry's "save Martha..." in the climax broke me 😢 The kid inside him died that night. And the way he promises Martha won't die tonight makes you feel he is really trying to stop that tragedy in his mind when he is saving Martha Kent. It's really sad.

Exactly my man. We're done with DC movies. Me my big brother his wife and my gf was so excited for MOS 2 and James Gunn came. My GF said "No Henry Cavill no money" she is so right. We're done. I will continue to buy DC comics but at movies big no. We don't want MCU 2.0 We want dark,cool,epic shots, amazing battles and amazing scores from Hans Zimmer&Junkie XL. We want Christopher Nolan as Producer. Chris Terrio as Writer and yes Snyder as Director!!

Not really think of what he did with Superman he turned him into a nihilistic cynical indestructible Space Jesus who zero personality in my opinion I think Henry Cavill is right to prefer Joss Whedon's cut because he actually played Superman in that film he didn't play Superman in Man of Steel or Batman v Superman he played Emo Man he was good in this film until the nightmare sequence ruined it also Snyder's Batman is awful he killed Dick Grayson and decided to have Batman kill but leave Joker alive that makes no sense I'm glad the Snyderverse it was awful the films were just disappointing and overall it's just a terrible take on the DC Universe I hope James Gunn's DCU is better but it's probably not going to be DC films are just terrible DC is better at solo projects and animation

@@kal-el8402 I’ll always be a fan and reader of the comics..when they are good, but the movies I am done with Warner. They don’t understand DC. They don’t care to understand, and they’ve got someone at the helm who doesn’t seem to get it either. Even if Gunn does get it his Superman movie has to be perfect; which it’s not going to be. At least Snyder had a vision but Warner Bros has hated Zack Snyder since the start of his career there. They never believed in him or his vision and basically undercut him and everyone there every step of the way. My money is better spent elsewhere. I haven’t watched an MCU movie since Endgame. I haven’t watched any of the tv shows either. I am a comic nerd and all my life I never had any interest in the Junior Varsity Team Avengers so I knew that after Endgame the MCU was going to continually get worse. I don’t know. I’m just overall done. I’m only excited for things like Spiderverse, Deadpool 3 and Rebel Moon.

I don't care what people said. I acknowledge only one DC cinematic universe: the Snyderverse. If WB get Snyder back, they can swim in money. Otherwise, they'll never see a dime from me and everyone I know

Zack synder movies always gives off the same but different and enjoyable feeling that it’s always a surprise everytime

When he left the project to mourn the tragic loss of his daughter, it was SO satisfying to finally see Zack Snyder’s true vision come to life after fans wanted to see it, following the horrible theatrical release directed by Joss Whedon. My only wish was that Zack’s version was released in IMAX theaters (as well as a sequel and a solo Ben Affleck Batman film).

You can't really blame Joss Whedon, he is incredibly amazing at stuff he created and owns. This just wasn't his movie and he was just forced to cut up and make a piece of crap by the studio. After Zack left, somebody had to do it and no one has Zack's vision.

What was impressive about that? Apart from Kryptonite, Superman is invincible. Him Saying "not impressed" is like Eddy Hall saying " you´re weak" to toddler.

I absolutely love this film. Zack Snyder's Justice League is supposed to be part 1 of 3 Justice League movies. Part 2 will be sad but epic. We learn from these visions that Lois Lane, Harley Quinn, Aquaman, and Wonder Woman all die. Darkseid acquires the Anti-Life Equation and turns Superman bad. Part 3, the Flash learned going back in time seeing Bruce Wayne in Batman v Superman was the wrong point in time to travel. He was too soon. So, he gets it right in Justice League part 3 and changes the timeline. Thereby saving everyone who died in part 2. Part 3 is supposed to be super epic. It would show man, Atlanteans, and Amazons all unting like they did anciently. But with the Justice League this time. I really wish the studio didn't go in a different direction. I think a lot of fans wanted to see this epic fight with Darkseid and his entire armada. -OG

Yes this was Zack's original plan but WB's plan was always supposed to be a 2 parter, not 1. That's how it was even when the production started in April 2016. It was in June that Geoff & co. ditched the 2-parter plan and forced Zack to make just one with the Part 2 date given to a sequel but nothing was planned for it. So the thing even if they don't want this universe, they still owe us a Part 2, a Batfleck movie, a Cyborg movie, a GL corps movie, another Superman solo even if we forgive what they did to the Flash and Aquaman.

Why are people excited for this version of Darkseid? He fainted from an Axe hit to the shoulder and then forgot the one planet that dared to defend itself. He´s lame.

Zack Snyder is a brilliant director. Man of Steel is great on its own. But you appreciate Man of Steel even more after having watched Batman v Superman. Batman v Superman is also amazing on its own. I love the conflicts and politics within it. But you appreciate Batman v Superman even more after having watched Zack Snyder's Justice League! All we need now is Zack Snyder's Justice League movies, parts 2 and 3, to conclude the epic saga. -OG

His original version of BvS and of course the original plan to have Justice League in 2 parts. I've always wondered if there is a bunch of Man of Steel scenes out there and if we could ever get an extended cut of it. WB sucks!

Would have been better if WB were not trying to play catch up to Marvel, and instead did their own thing. None of these movies did particularly well, especially BvS. Doing Doomsday the way they did wasn't a great idea.

@VColossalV Doomsday was not the original intended DC villain for Batman v Superman. Yes, Warner tried to play catch up to Marvel by instigating a versus film before doing a solo Batfleck film. Which was a mistake. Nonetheless, Marvel still sent out their spies as though this was the U.S. vs the old U.S.S.R. It's just ridiculous. Anyway, they got wind of the original script to Batman v Superman. This is what inspired their Captain America: Civil War. Warner told Snyder to make changes to Batman v Superman. He did. He inserted Doomsday instead of the originally intended villain. Remember that guy that got his legs crushed? Lex, Jr. gave him a nice wheelchair to stand up for something. Remember that huge chunk of kryptonite found? Yeah. The dude was supposed to be Metallo. He was supposed to be powered by kryptonite and stand with mechanic legs. But, instead, he only served to be part of the manipulation to get Batman to fight Superman. So, he clearly had a larger part. Which makes better sense than having Doomsday. Nonetheless, I still rather enjoyed Batman v Superman. But it's good to know what could have been. -OG

Lots of folks have said that Zack Snyder's Justice League is THE best superhero film they've ever seen. How could one NOT want to see the epic conclusions in parts 2 and 3?!! I'm talking regular folks. Not just Snyder fans. In other words, NORMIES. Folks who aren't avid comic book collectors and have likely watched mostly MCU movies. Zack and Cavill may continue to get the cold shoulder treatment, but other studios will gladly take them. People love Snyder. How many directors do you know that actually gets their own sort of comic con? Zack gets a freakin' SNYDER CON!!! Respect. 🫡 -OG

This cut of Justice League is epic and exhilarating from start to finish. It brought out a new appreciation for Snyder’s work and his version with DC's beloved characters.

I appreciate the Lord of the Rings vibe of this film, you have the immortal Amazons like the Elves, the Atlanteans who are reclusive warriors like the Dwarves, with Darkseid having the terrifying presence of Sauron, and his parademons as essentially flying Orcs.

Yeah that's what Zack Snyder was going for. Even the structure was supposed to be like LotR, a 3-part epic story. This is only the 1st part. The League hasn't even formed yet, GL is supposed to join as the 7th member, Barry doesn't have an alter ego name or a proper suit, Aquaman supposed to wear the Atlantean king's golden suit and so on.

​@@AshrafAnam Indeed, the fact that this was meant to be Part 1 of a trilogy is pretty clear, even without the Knightmare scenes. I have read the proposed trilogy outlines, seen the storyboards and animated presentations, and honestly they're mixed to me. The Legion of Doom plot undermining the League was cleverly plotted out, Batman and Lois going full sleuth to track Lex Luthor down was suspenseful, and the unification of Earth's superheroes and civilians to repel Darkseid was epic stuff. As a fan of the film Excalibur, I appreciate the allusion to Arthur, Guinevere and Lancelot through Superman, Lois and Batman; Zack sure does love his references to the greatest Arthurian adaptation. On the other hand, the Justice League themselves are kept separate, I don't like the Knightmare timeline concept, and I hate that it wastes Henry Cavill's Superman on a timeline where he's taken over by Darkseid and the Anti-Life Equation. I know that was meant to be fixed by the Flash going back in time and Batman sacrificing himself to save Lois, but even then we don't get GL as a member until Part 3 and Batman is already dying. I'm sorry, I don't mean to be a downer about it, as there were some exciting ideas for Justice League Parts 2 and 3.

I love Darkseid in the comics and I've wished we have seen him more in live action. I love Zack Snyder's version! What a tragic end of the live action DC universe that has never truly begun...

Thank you for reacting to one of my favorite movies of all time! It is a crime against motion pictures that Zack Snyder was not permitted to finish the story he wanted to tell with one more movie.

The movie sure starts in way that twists the knife in the wound created by Superman's death but we also get to see the impact it had worldwide. The scene with Batman trying to recruit Aquaman, showing us how the latter is worshipped by that village - it gives off quite the creepy vibe. Wonder Woman did wonders, as usual, and the bank scenes were a visual spectacle, showing us just how powerful and resourceful she is. Reassuring the little girl at the end, telling her she can be whatever she wants to be - it was so heartwarming. You said it best, Magy, the amazons with their "maybe it'll go back to sleep" was definitely a delulu moment 😂 Both the assault on the amazons and on the atlanteans painted Steppenwolf as this unstopabble force, tearing through them, getting the Motherboxes and then teleporting out triumphantly. You can never get tired of this iteration of Alfred. He's so done with Bruce's shit, their chemistry is fantastic and he does wonders with other actors too. Him talking with Diana, "initiating" her into the secrets of tea making, proudly presenting the energy absortion gauntlet as a completely novel thing when Diana's vambraces do the same thing - pure comedy that fits the dark tone of the movie. Seeing the "Age of Heroes" scene, everyone united, including the old gods and fighting back Darkseid - that was absolutely epic. I wouldn't mind a whole movie about that, the aftermath, Ares' betrayal. The Flash's proper introduction, how effortless it was for him to save Iris - this scene in particular did a phenomenal job showing us just how powerful he is. Victor's backstory followed by what he can do, all presented by his father, it's one of the highlights of this movie. It's nothing short of incredible and seeing how he helps that single mom, it really gets you emotional. Lois' moments in this movie might get overlooked but the emotional load every scene with her carries, it's impossible to ignore. She loved Clark so much and we can see how empty her life feels without him. It's fascinating, how very much against the idea of interacting with Apokolyptian technology the Kryptonian's ship AI is. It knows full well just how evil Darkside is, and everything he touches. Fantastic scene, seeing Clark go against them all and easily taking care of it. Also terrifying, just how much more powerful he is than them all. Barry's shocked face is easily understandable, up until that point nobody ever came close to being as fast as him and now this mythical figure, his hero, came back from the dead, is hostile and on top of everything else, can keep up with him. In a beautiful twist of fate, Lois turned out to be more powerful than them all, showing us what love does, just how powerful the connection between them is. The scenes with Clark and Lois at the farm, his mom coming back to see him, these were the best in the movie by far. That purity can never be matched by anything else, it was incredibly wholesome. Clark appearing and completely fucking Steppenwolf up is always gonna be satisfying, poor bastard didn't stand a chance against him. Even so, they still lost in the end, at least until Barry finally showed us what he's capable of and turned back time. Both the scene with Lex and Deathstroke and then the scene from the future, with the Batman and his gang of misfits trying to undo the terrible thing that happened - these only tease us, show us glimpses of a future that will never come to pass, at least not as long as James Gunn is at the helm of the DCU. I think Arthur's seen more like a protective elf. You may not know but elves are very much real to Icelandic people and esp. villagers. It's not just myths of old. They are not gods but they may be worshiped or at the very least venerated by some for protection...may be like a patron saint. Arthur gives off elf vibes with his glowing eyeballs, Atlantean body and off course paranormal abilities.

@@AshrafAnam I'm familiar with the folklore and you make a good point. I didn't tie him to something like that simply because of his physique, his looks, how down to earth the villagers actually were. The songs as he leaves are definitely praising him, just like a protector.

Superman gets me emotional also nowadays. Yup, he just is the personification of hope n positivity. Has all the power to take and all he wants to do is help.

It’s a shame that we’ll never get to see the rest of what Zack Snyder had planned for these characters and this universe. Whether audiences and critics would have liked it or not, I still wish that the studio would have given Zack Snyder a chance to finish his story, at least for the fans. On the plus side, it was great to see you girls react to a superhero film that I really enjoy. And if I may say so, I think you both are very cute when you get emotional ☺️ (the happy kind of emotional of course; when you’re sad emotional, I wish I could hug you and tell you everything is okay). I just watched your reactions to Man of Steel, and now The Justice League. It's so awesome to see how much emotions it creates in you both and makes me want to watch them again. Zach Snyder's films are incredible.

I rate the Zack Snyder version way above the original release, and I love your reactions to this. Fun fact - Silas Stone (Victor's father) is played by Joe Morton, who also played Miles Bennet Dyson, the "man most directly responsible" for creating Skynet, in Terminator 2. Got a bit of a thing for experimenting with AI!

It's too bad DC/WB have ended this universe. We'll never get to see the full potential of Cavill as Superman. To answer you questions about those Knightmare visions: The reason Superman is evil in those visions is because of the Anti-life equation that Steppenwolf mentioned he found carved into the earth. From the DC fandom wiki: Anti- Life has the power to dominate the will of any sentient race in addition to reality-altering powers that twist and distort freedom over life, death as well as all existence. It derives its name from the fact that "if someone possesses absolute control over you-you're not really alive." Sadly we won't get to see JL 2 and 3 to see how things would have really played out, but I imagine it would have been a mix of the Injustice story (where Superman turns evil after the death of Lois Lane), Justice League Dark: Apocolips War (an intense war against Darkseid where there are many casualties - like the vision of Diana on the funeral pyre), and Flashpoint Paradox (where Thomas Wayne becomes Batman after Barry time travels - which is why I think they cast Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Thomas Wayne in BvS). As always, loved the reaction and commentary! Laura is so sweet!

How did Superman go bad. If you paid attention. the movie, told you. Justice League HQ was destroyed. Superman is kneeling holding Lois's dead body. In grief. Then Darkseid puts his hand on Superman's shoulder. As if to say "Join me and get revenge". And even more information given at the end.

Next up: Ben-Hur 1959. 3 hours 41 minutes, with a 10 minute intermission. The movie that saved Warner Bros.

Yeah. I feel like this generation never watched those epics when they complain about long runtime. If the subject matter's captures your imagination and it takes you into its own world, I can watch a 6 or 8 hours movie no problem.

A much more satisfying film than the 2017 version, with an incredibly terrifying Steppenwolf in the bargain; ruthless and unyielding but with motive and purpose. Nice to get glimpes of Darkseid, Desaad and their homeworld Apokolips as well.

Quite the universe, after ten years the dive entries of the DCEU garnered a Nostalgic quality, after this there’d be new entries Aquaman, Shazam, Birds of Prey the Fantabulous emancipation of one Harley Quinn, Wonder Woman 2 1984, Suicide Squad 2 The Suicide Squad, Black Adam “which you may enjoy for a certain cameo”, Shazam 2 Fury of Gods, The Flash, Blue Beetle, last one Aquaman 2 Lost kingdom releases in December, whether or not you’ll check the following films is up to you, strangely the studio were in development of planning sequels to Justice League, they meddled with Snyder’s vision. Now DCs under going a cinematic reboot, the Snyder verse could be explored in a multi-versal capacity.

I dug both versions of this movie💋, I kinda wish they could mesh them but it's ok. Amber Heard's accent was not a fave of mine in this version and Martian Manhunter showing that he was here the the whole time was a weird choice cause that means he was in three world ending films and did nothing to help out :/ . Still wanted Superman to wear his iconic blue and red outfit but I like that atleast he wears it in the 2017 version💙. I actually liked that this version was longer cause I remember wanting the theatrical version to be longer whenever I watch it.

Another version of this movie has a really hilarious scene where Aquaman starts saying how he TRULY feels about his fellow heroes ... because he's on Wonder Woman's lasso.

The character of Darkseid in the DC Comics was a major influence for the creation of Thanos in the Marvel Comics. It just sucks that the SnyderVerse for these DC comic movies is all over now. We now have to deal with James Gunn and his rebooting of everything

My favourite superhero film of all time. I acknowledge it may have flaws and it might not be everyone's thing, each will have their own favourite... but for me it's perfect and the one I can watch over and over and get lost in.

I love how this movie fills in the plotholes left by Joss Whedon's bastardized Justice League vision by incorporating individual motivation and reasoning for the members coming together to form the League. Also, the black suit looks so awesome with intentional function. Since the color black absorbs heat the best, Superman chose to wear it before taking flight to absorb sunlight in order to supercharge his Kryptonian cells.

This movie is quite possibly a top 2-3 movie in all of DC's history. Each character has a perfect storyline and proper screen time, unlike the original from 2017, and the movie has a perfect balance for those who are new to the DCEU and those who have watched every last movie before it.

I'm just surprised Zack was able to include even those Yalan Gur the ancient GL and Kilowog cameos in the movie with WB banning the use of both John Stewart and Hal Jordan.

To be fair. Victor has ample reason to BLAME his father for not being there. This movie seems to follow the same kind of character for Silas Stone. If they kept him to be the same as in the comics and shows, then it's VERY likely Silas promised his wife he'd be there at his son's game but just ignored the game because he was working. And not that he was pressured by his boss or anything (because Silas IS the boss) but because he just didn't CARE about football. Whatever he was doing was infinitely more important than watching his son play football. There are scenes with Silas flat out telling Victor that he's NEVER going to come to one of his game's Silas doesn't believe football is a good enough activity in any way. even if Victor were to have been drafted and get a multi-million dollar contract Silas would STILL consider Victor wasting his time "playing kids' games" instead of doing anything useful in the world. Silas is NOT a good father nor husband.

@@AshrafAnam Yeah, I don't know ALL of his variants, but the ones I've seen get zero sympathy from me on any level. and it's not just a matter that Silas doesn't LIKE football, it's that he's utterly dismissive and downright insulting of it. His son was actually a 5top college and potential NFL prospect and Silas STILL calls it "playing around with a ball" like a child. His single minded obsessive focus on scientific academics is just supreme arrogance. He actually considers himself a "better human being" because he's a scientist. and anything NOT science related he has NO time for. So for this reason I refuse to feel sorry for HIM when his wife and son get into an accident.

The perfect dc movie

I like both versions of this film, honestly. Both have good and bad merits. It would have been nice to see Snyder at least finish his vision, though. It probably would have concluded years ago anyway.

I hope you consider watching some of the animated movies. The Death of Superman, Batman v. the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Superman v. Batman v. Apocalypse. To name a couple.

Superheroes will always inspire 👍 Great reactions ladies. May I recommend something? I’m not sure if you’ve seen or know this but, there is a tv series called “Smallville,” that’s 10 seasons long. It tells the story of a young Clark Kent and his journey into one day becoming SUPERMAN. It’s a great series, and I truly think the both of you would enjoy it. If you haven’t seen it yet, I highly recommend it if you have the time to watch it. I know people would love to see you both reacting to that show. Just thought I’d make a little suggestion 🙂. MagicMagy, I usually enjoy your reactions --- but I have to mention that sharing headphones takes away from the full audio experience of what you're watching. When wearing headphones (headsets), the Left headphone and the Rght headphone each carry different aspects of the audio. So when you're sharing headphones with someone else, you both actually miss out on a good part of the audio....one of you may pick up some dialogue that's carried on one headphone, while the other person may not even realize that there is dialogue taking place. If you're doing reactions with someone else, I would suggest that you both should have your own separate headphones/headsets so that all ears are covered and can pick up everything that's going on in th movie.

If you want to check out the vod of her twitch stream, she explains it at 37 mins and 55 secs into the vod. Basically she cannot hear herself talking which makes it uncomfortable and strange. With Laura in the mix too, she wouldn't be able to hear her either so they couldn't talk with each other. Additionally, she got used to this and if it works best for her, that's what matters. Subtitles help a lot in extreme cases where dialogue might be lost.

And if you know the story of how this movie Can be posible, and the story behind that quote at the end "For Autumn", the movie hits you in a different level and became so much more emotional. Even the speedforce scene when Barry save them all, it looks like Zack is sending a message to his daughter. Saddly this universe is cancelled, and they hired the world destroyer and penis joke fan N°1 of James Gunn, now we got another Superman, a New universe, and the snyderverse cancelled.
