I played this song and many other songs of his while walking through the darkest valley's of my longest (7 months) and worst relapse... I now have 8 days clean from meth pain pills, benzos and marijuana... Trying to use one substance to counteract the other so I could pretend and disguise myself to be a normal functioning person... I even went as far calling every outfit that I picked out for the day a costume because I tried to dress up to hide who I was inside I lost so much weight, that when I would take my costume off I just cried... I was so disgusted with myself I just thought everyone around me could see through me.... At the same time grateful enough that I didn't have to hide myself from the Lord. I'm finding out in this dark process that there was a purpose for me. That He had a calling on my life. He stopped two suicide attempts, He stopped me from running, so when I was willing to let go of everything in order to save my own life, He delivered me... Which in return by the spiritual attack on my life harder but I know that I'm not alone. Thank you Zach Williams for feeding my spirit because the devil was trying to steal back my soul and I almost let him. That God has me and even though I walked into mine 11th hour because like it says in Matthew 6:24 you cannot serve two masters so I had to make a choice. I chose to be washed clean and serve the Lord. When you become a Christian and then you relapse you invite the enemy back in your life and the spiritual warfare that you trying to fight alone leaves you defeated, if you call on Him He will save you from yourself... Little did I realize you've been fighting the spiritual battles with me and for me... All the while I was believing the lies the enemy was telling me, That it was too late. That God already abandoned me... Thank you Lord Jesus for never giving up on me and not leaving or forsaking me.. for forgiving me allowing me to repent, sometimes daily.... thank you Jesus for your mercy and Grace. Amen
