"Zaahil Beta Hu, Ek Ko Bhi Nahi Bacha Paya" | Son Who Lost Both Parents To COVID |Oxygen Deaths

Ойын-сауық

In this special series - 'Breathless in the City' we bring you the People Behind the Numbers and ask: Who Will take accountability for deaths that many doctors have said amount to culpable homicide. In this episode, we take you Inside the Horror of one such Hospital - Jaipur Golden Hospital in Delhi. Barkha Dutt meets Gaurav who lost his father on 24th of April in this hospital. At least 25 patients were reportedly dead on that day after the hospital's Oxygen Supply stopped.
Gaurav told Mojo Story that his mother also lost her battle to COVID in another hospital. Talking about his father, he says the family mortgaged the auto rickshaws they owned to clear bills of the hospital and to buy Remdesivir Injections which he claims to have bought at the rate of Rs 50,000 per dose. He blames the hospital for his father's death and told us that the hospital neither informed him about oxygen shortage nor acknowledged the death due to the same.

Shame on such hospitals, their licence should be cancelled and they should be jailed, so that no other patient will suffer again. Govt should make audits for such hospitals.

Puja heart felt condolences. even though it is hard to view such videos of death, many of us view them and read the comments to silently stand in support and to afford the due respect to the Fathers and Mothers who, after giving their best for their families, died in such humiliating manner. after spending their income feeding their kids, they die for lack of oxygen. my utmost respect to your father. May his soul rest in peace.

This brother is very brave. I Lost my mother on 14 may, I always breakdown badly, she was my life. She was very fit but Covid took her away. My ears are still beeping with ICU sound, I gave her everything to recover fast, gave her shiv idol to keep with her, she talked to me very well, I used to do some breathing exercises and she reciprocated through the glass. 5 days I didn't remember doing any other thing only reciting mantra, my mom always told me that it gives a new life to dying people, she was a great devotee. But I failed to bring her back. How can I continue this life seeing you face this much. I'm shattered.

Whom should I blame, The person who ate something which started the virus, Or The country from where it started Or The people who came into their hometown from abroad... Or When lockdown was lifted we ...ignoring the protocol and we started acting normal. Or Instead of staying inside we neglected protocol... Or Should I just blame government and accept the fact that only because of them it all happened.... And move on in life and say India is pathetic country, which gave our name and person to be... If a war had happened in our country had we still be wandering in roads neglecting everything...no right, we would have shut our ass and would have locked out in our , safety places wether underground also no matter, we just wanted to live another day.... See, the people I saw , who in 1 n half year did not step out if home are also victim of this disease. People who roamed out daily may not get affected. ...all its person's own survival things. I said normally. It waa not with any intention. My comment meant a ' helplessness" in this global pandemic because it has to. The spread was like that that it was not in control at initial level n as we the most populated country and our structure unlike western countries , it had became the fatal condition at start then in middle n still.... Yes surely system failed n facilities lacked...but again, it had to be. Never we had prepared with all required essentials n it's not like that , those medical facilities ( beds oxygen cylinders) had to be in abundant amount that they won't finish. Dear Brother , I said in such way if helplessness . Sometimes we witness , people even didn't try things which in their hand to survive / help someone. So I mean , when things may be beyond control or though in control but if a person's life is dependent on system , on getting facilities n many things involved like doctors , medical staff, finance to arrange those facilities etc etc then end become obvious. Believe it was a comment in response not in negative way.

Hindu muslim issue is as prevelent as british era even in 2021. So we can't have any improvement in our nation nor in our life. Schools are closed but elections took place as usual. Barkha Dutt is trying to expose the scattered health system and only profit minded politicians who don't even have empathy towards helpless and poor Indians. I have lost my father in the 2nd wave. I know what it feels to live in a country which has only a skeleton of helath system.
