Informative and entertaining session between the two presenters, nice show👍
I have a z790-I - really nice. It has a VRM fan under the back io shroud, could you ask JJ if that fan is supposed to show up in the BIOS fan monitoring - it doesn't seem too?
I always say it as R O G! So excited for these boards! thinking about the Maximus, with the 13900k!
Great review guys AAA++++ amazing motherboards..
I have the 13900K and a Asus ROG Hero Z790z. It’s amazing and I love it
Will the z790 and x670e Extreme and Hero motherboards be nvlink compatible any time soon?
great video! hey j j is there going to be a z-790 micro atx with ddr5 support?
Any recommendations for ram thinking of 32gb 2x16, I got a 3090ti, 13900k and the rog strix z790e mobo. Build will be for gaming and some video editing..
Nice. Thank you.
Best asus board for OC 13900k plus 128gb 5200 4 channel memory ??
The maximus extreme is REALLY nice, I just got mine, and my 4090fe and 13900k, waiting on ekwb 4090 waterblock preorder now. I'm dying to test everything before singularity gets my integra umbra case here but I don't want to get a psu until I can find a new gen 5 with the native 16/12pin. I'd prefer to keep as much as possible asus to save on unnecessary software but I have no idea when the loki psu will be available.
It would be cool if the Z790 Maximus Extreme was in stock somewhere. I've had a Back Order, Order, in for months and months lol.
I had a z390e with a i7 9700k and that motherboard was around £260, man that price for a premium mid range motherboard with all bells and whistles was insane and the £500 plus was referred to motherboards that where really high end. Now the strix series are around £500 and higher end mobos are now above £600 its insane. Its mot just double its quadruple in price for the same price and mobo
I just got the 13900k Def interested in the Maximus extreme but a $1000 bucks? Hope they drop price
Prices are ludicrous here in the eu… most boards are more expensive than the 13700k i just bought. Tempted tk get a z690 instead.
is it true that DDR4's latency is higher on Intel 12th and 13th gen?
When are you guys gonna fix armory crate?
I have purchased the ASUS ROG MAXIMUS EXTREME & have questions-
I’m thinking of getting the Corsair Vengeance 96 GB (2 x 48 GB) DDR5-6400 CL32 Memory for a new build I’m doing with the ROG MAXIMUS Z790 HERO motherboard, but heard that ‘Some Intel Z790 chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update to fully utilize 48 GB RAM modules’. Should I anticipate any problems with the HERO using 48GB modules?
Why do we have to pay extra for WIFI in all your TUF and ROG motherboards if we have a direct network connection with our ISP? We kept in PRIME Z790-P although we would like more performances in processing, storage and connectivity.
