Yves´ E21 Project R3born - Part 1. The Car. The Story

When we arrived at Munich Icons in Belgium, the owner, Yves Decan, had arranged a small get together with other BMW enthusiasts.
They came in E10´s, E30´s, E46´s and my favourite - an E24 in orange Jägermeister trim! What cool cars and what a warm welcome - thanks a lot!
Munich Icons restore classic BMW´s. But besides that, they also want to build a small series of a completely modified and customized E21, called Project R3born. That means, you can actually buy your very own unique E21! And Project R3born was todays target.

In Part 2, coming later this fall, we dive more into the details and the modifications, and Yves will take us through more technical parts of Project R3eborn - and there is lots of good stuff coming in that video.
We are BMW enthusiasts and automotive video amateurs. This video was filmed by one person using a GoPro Hero5 for the driving scenes and a Sony a7iii for the other shots.
We hope you enjoy watching it as much as we did making it! And we´d love to hear your response to the video.

Absolutely beautiful! I was in high-school when I got my license and an 1982 e21 was my first ever car I got to experience, love, learn and enjoy. Since then they will forever hold a special place in my heart.
Yves built me a fabulous restomod E21. I'm overjoyed ! Hreat expert to work with, highly recommended !
My first BMW was a used e21, US spec 320i with 15” BBS. It was so fun to drive.

What a great car! In our family our second BMW was a EU 320/6 in mint green, that later was turned into a silver 323i. I hope you enjoy our videos, thanks for watching!
My third car was a German E21 320{-6). Fantastically fun.

Beautiful car. Huge fan of the E-21. I'm building one as we speak, with a lot of help, albeit not as nice as this. I'm not quite that talented.

Does somebody know which version of te E21 has the original 2 exausts on the back end of the car? Is it only with the 323i type?

Yes, only the 323i has double exhaust

Killer car this looks like it's going to be an awesome Channel man I subscribed looking forward to some more Killer Cars hopefully you do all types of All European maybe like pre-merger Amg or Porsches anything different is cool. Thanks Godspeed

Yeah, it´s an awesome car! And thank you so much for subscribing and commenting. We only focus on BMW´s, not that we don´t like other cool cars and brands, we very much do, but our passion is BMW :) And the next is a cool custom 2002 from a collector in the Netherlands. We hope you´ll enjoy

Wheels are original WRD Mesh, front 8x17 et 5 with 195/40 and rear 9x17 et 5 with 215/35. We recently changed some things on the car and are now running on 215/40 and 235/40 Yoko’s AD08RS for more grip.
I have a e21 323i ,would like my engine to sound like yours can you please send me your info
