This is going to sound cheesy, but Yusuke's answer actually really comforted me. He is probably my favorite character from Persona 5 with Ryuji being the second, and I often can't help but sulk a little over how "different" I am from many people, regardless of how accepting of it I try to be or how irrational I know it is to bother thinking about it. Sometimes, I even ask myself exactly what my favorite characters from fiction would really think about me, and it tends to be in a negative light. Hearing him have such a heartfelt response that on top of everything reminds me of how I would've probably answered it, well...It really touched me. Knowing that he felt this way and that he might even appreciate my individuality on a much more profound way than most people was really nice. Being appreciated like a painting, so deeply yet utterly "casually", especially by an artist, is a wonderful feeling. Thank you, Yusuke. ;_;

I totally hear you. I’ve always been a bigger girl, and guys either treat me like dogshit or they clearly are only being nice to me because they think I’m easy; it is so pleasant to hear a male character say this, and that I know he means it! Tbh if a guy said this in real life, I wouldn’t believe a word of it, but knowing Yusuke’s character, I know that in his heart of hearts, he holds this to be totally true. Every woman is different from the rest, meaning they are all beautiful in their own way.

I haven’t been able to play persona besides their spinoff series but man I wanna pose while talking like Yusuke! I felt his passion and his flamboyance

Why can I relate to Yusuke so often? It might be because of my personal opinion about... physical stuff, if you know what I mean. I'm not a huge fan of all that and I don't like the whole "men only think of one thing" stereotype. I'm living prove of that being false. It might be that I'm asexual (basicaly, not interested in sex) and I can see the same being the case for Yusuke. Just because he's not into woman doesn't mean he's gay. Though I also know several scenes hint at that in the game, like the free-time event on the boat.

I'm pretty sure it's more Yusuke doesn't really take stuff like romance into account when he does his business. On your example of the free-time boat event, while some characters in the game see that as inheritingly romantic, he doesn't really see it that way. It's just another chance for him to get inspiration for his art.

@@MrSentinel07 I can see that as well. In that case he would be aromantic (not interested in romance, obviously). The greatest part is how everyone can interpret a character differently, I'd say. But no matter what his preference or orientation might be, he's my favourite character so far. The reason being, that I always had a soft spot for characters with a more unique way of expressing themselves and an exotic vocabulary. Plus, the voice acting seals the deal.
