On the off chance that you see this, and even if you don’t, I also just wanted to say thanks for the incredible tunes you’ve put out in 2020 - I’m a guest presenter on BBC Radio 1 this Christmas - and my radio presenting journey was massively boosted when I won a competition in Spring, with the first bit of my demo being about your track Festival with Tom Misch. The becoming of a ledgend!!!!
Great music, Yussef. Listened to this many times.
His drum sound checks all my favourite influences: funk, Hip-hop, drum and bass, broken beat, jazz. It's so taut, the opposite of the wannabe-Dilla behind-the-beat thing that you sometimes hear. When I want drums I want PRESSURE!
