@@dragonrider1736 well Giyu likely sent her to Urokadaki first since he was probably the best teacher he knew for someone in her position. So like tanjiro she probably learned water breathing first but that doesn't mean she can't learn another breathing style later. She would likely be pushed to activating sun breathing though like Tanjiro in the original timeline. But in the training arcs perhaps she will practice a new style since this is an au and literally anything can happen. Honestly though I don't understand why the strongest demon slayers don't at least try to learn more breathing styles. Even if their bodies aren't suited to some styles, it could still come in handy.

I love the little detail of the earring going on the tanuki ears that appear when hearing that nezuko was called a hag. It’s a nice detail that not a lot of shows do when their character has their ears pierced.

Despite getting turned into a demon himself, Tanjiro's brotherly protective side over his sister is still very, very strong. And he doesn't take very kindly to anymore who threatens or says nasty things to Nezuko.

This is really well done! I love the small changes in their interactions, though the main plot beats stay the same. I wonder about Zenitsu's crush on Nezuko and how terrified he'd be of Demon!Tanjiro... and how the conversations with Gyutaro and Daki would go since a lot of Gyutaro's dialogue had to do with he and Tanjiro both being older brothers.

He'd give Tanjiro so much shit for having Nezuko be the main one fighting: hell, the only reason he really shows Tanjiro any real semblance of respect at all is because he's an elder sibling fighting to protect his younger sister, like how Gyutaro's life went. I'm imagining Gyutaro just going full on berserker on the 'useless sack of shit' Demon Tanjiro would mostly be(depending on how much they keep the game) as an older sibling, mocking the few attempts at helping he'd get in. Though unless Tanjiro also gets a healing art, Tengen 100% dies after the fight

I doubt Tanjiro would let that little zenitsu get close to Nezuko 🤣🤣 I think Gyutaro would be very angry with Tanjiro for letting Nezuko fight to protect him. Just like the other one there said, the Gyutaro only "respected" the Tanjiro, because he was the older brother and was fighting to protect the little sister, but if the Tanjiro wasn't, then the Gyutaro would kill him. Unless, even if he has become an oni, Tanjiro is the one fighting on the front line, while Nezuko supports and takes care of his back

Like, if we are in a world where only Nezuko and Tanjiro swapped, maybe there were changes such as when Kanae died, so she could have been the one doing what Giyu did (in a kinder fashion). If the Uppermoon and Hashira also got swapped out, not just the Kamado, then, who know who they could have ran into...

Ah I like this so much, usually when the roles switch they just basically redo only the scenes but they change their personalities .. which I find kind of stupid I like to think that just because the roles are switched, Tanjiro still acts like Tanjiro (just with a bit more of that..demon nature) and Nezuko is still Nezuko, so I really like this version

You give such depth to Nezuko’s character in this AU it makes me love the original Nezuko even more! (And of course the animation and facial expressions are beautiful) I hope they give her more screen time/ branch out her character more in the coming seasons of the actual anime.

What I love about this is how it's established that Nezuko is very similar to tanjiro but she's way more aggressive. That being said , how would that translate into how she approach slaying demons.
