I disagree. Many Mexicans are into straight up brawling, but if you beat your opponent that way then there's nothing wrong with it. Barrera turned into a great counter puncher as time went by too and Chavez could easily outbox an average fighter, it just wasn't what he was about.

Boxing is like many other sports of this world a entertainment driven sport boxing needs MORE than just technical prowess because that shit isn't going to cut it when you want to take away fans away from watching the UFC you need boxing to make as much as possible!! Theirs also a rule book in boxing aswell made for the sole purpose of people not being able to create a borefest/unfair fight but unfortunately people like Ward get to break that rule and have boring fights every time around.
