7:15 the moments in the side missions where the Spider-Men are interacting with certain civilians and just sitting down and having an extremely human connection with them, it is very touching. Especially Howard’s story. Even though he’s a fictional character, the moment they share with him in this game sat heavy with me.

Yeah, no way he knew he was gonna die that day. He ended his life. That was the subtext and that’s what made it so sad.

Yuri definitely deserves best performance at the game of the year awards. I feel like he also definitely deserves a bafta. He was really incredible in this

this franchise has kept me motivated to make music in my darkest hours. i lost my dad, aunt, and 1st cousin in the span of 6 years. no pity, no bs, but spider-man and this story motivated me to get off my feet and be greater. take charge of my life even when the darkest hours dawn on you. so real.

I just finished the Spider-Man 2 game and I was BLOWN AWAY with how talented he is. I was able to hear that voice change he refers when Peter takes the symbiote entity. But on top of that, you can hear the stress in his voice, the anger, the sadness, the fear. I was emotionally invested.

4:10 yuri expalins it perfectly. they made the symboite exactly like a drug addiction. especially when pete first gets it and says he feels good. but then he ends up losing himself throughout the game. just like a drug addiction

Stan Lee wasn't exactly shy about his drug inspirations when it came to many arcs and characters, Yuri mentions Peter's relationship with Harry and in my mind this is something Peter and Harry sort of share in common, with Harry's Goblin Green addiction. Since the Symbiote and Goblin Green both seem to be analogies for the same thing, steroids.

Is no one going to bring up the “Lowenthal and Platt Detective Agency” on his office door? His wife is Yuri Watanabe in the game. Watanabe and Spider-cop back together

While didn't really liked spider 2 i must say yuri is always fantastic and he definitely deserved to win best performance in game awards.

Everybody talks about his role in Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2, nobody talking about his chilling performance as the Courier in Fallout: New Vegas. "Yeah!" "Yrrrgh!" "Argh!" "YAH!" _jet noises_ Stirring stuff.

Yuri is awesome in any role he’s in. Thats interesting he brought up drugs at 4:11 because Harry Osborn did drugs in the comics when he was in college. Also the fact Peter told Harry: “Why don’t you pop some more pills and tell me how you really feel.” That was cruel.😨

I like how Yuri basically agrees with the statement that the symbiote is an allegory for substance abuse.

And people really believe this game didn't deserve GOTY and claimed it was the same!!!

He's voice is perfect as Peter Parker/Spider-man. Aside the bone structure coz it didnt match to John Bubniak. 🤣💦

I hope they don’t just stop doing Peter in upcoming games and at least have him say some lines

@@earendilthemariner5546 Also they want to give a different gameplay loop as opposed to just beating everyone up all the time, like the spiderbot missions etc, I like the different missions for what they are.

From someone who has played both games, the first one feels bigger to me. There are more challenge bases, more open world random event varieties and also, 3 levels of enemy types as compared to the 2 we get in the sequel. Insomniac somehow fell short in the sequel 😢
