가수 윤하가 서태지 데뷔 25주년을 맞아 ‘테이크 파이브’(Take five)를 리메이크해 공개했다. ‘테이크 파이브’는 1998년 서태지가 발표한 곡으로 윤하에 의해 19년 만에 리메이크됐다.
윤하는 서태지의 ‘테이크 파이브’를 귀를 녹일 듯한 달콤한 보이스와 함께 감각적인 애시드 팝 사운드로 재해석했다. 윤하의 목소리는 위로와 희망, 안부를 담은 원곡의 노랫말을 13년 차 내공의 보컬리스트답게 호소력 있게 전달한다.
서태지의 ‘테이크 파이브’는 서태지와 아이들 은퇴 후 미국에서 생활하던 서태지가 다시 음악을 시작하며 한국의 팬들에게 전하는 메시지기도 했다. 윤하는 느리고 그루브하지만 무겁지 않은 사운드로 ‘테이크 파이브’ 원곡의 감정선을 섬세하게 포착해 전한다.
서태지 팬들에게 유독 특별한 곡인 ‘테이크 파이브’를 윤하가 부른 건 결코 우연이 아니다. 평소 음악적으로 서태지의 팬이기도 한 윤하는 ‘테이크 파이브’를 통해 비단 뮤지션으로서 서태지의 노래를 리메이크하는 것뿐만 아니라 노래를 추억하고 감상하는 리스너의 정서까지 따뜻하게 감싸 안아준다.
또 이번 윤하의 ‘테이크 파이브’ 뮤직비디오에는 과거 아역 시절 ‘테이크 파이브’ 뮤직비디오에 출연했던 신세경이 19년 만에 다시 출연했다. 윤하와 신세경을 통해 시간이 흐를수록 더 깊어지는 음악의 특별한 매력을 느낄 수 있다.
윤하의 ‘테이크 파이브’는 서태지 데뷔 25주년 기념 리메이크 프로젝트 ‘타임:트래블러’(TIME : TRAVELER)의 세 번째 곡이다. ‘타임:트래블러’는 미래에서 온 선물이라는 테마로 서태지의 명곡들을 후배 뮤지션들이 리메이크 하는 프로젝트다.

특별히 서태지 팬이 아니더라도 90년대 노래좀 듣는 분들은 다 아실거에요! 어릴땐 몰랐는데 신세경 이쁘네요ㅎㅎㅎ 그리고 '발군'은 excellent '발굴' discover 에요!ㅎㅎ
25주년 기념으로 후배들이 재해석을 하고 있는데 그 중에 이 곡을 들으면서 느껴 지는건. 윤하는 진심 서태지 팬이란것을.. 원곡과 다르지만 마치 원곡을 듣는 것 같고 그 때의 추억을 듣는것 같다. 서태지 팬들이라면 내가 무슨 말을 하는지 아마 알 수 있을 것..

마지막 반전에 살짝 울컥하네. 19년전 추억과 어린 시절의 그 감정이 강제소환 되어지는 느낌... 오리지널 뮤비에서 어린 세경이가 받은 저 편지는 어딘가에 있을 태지에게로부터 온 편지를 의미하던 거였는데 그걸 이렇게 새롭고 멋드러지게 해석한 것에 박수를 보낸다!.
끝까지 보세요 진짜 감동적임.

Apparently, this is a remake of Seo Tae-Ji's Take Five MV released in 1998. Younha is a big fan of his, so she wanted to sing this as a way to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of his debut.

When will her album be released? I remember her latest albums 'Just Listen' and 'Subsonic' and those albums were GOLD. I still listen to her music in 'Supersonic' album which is a masterpiece. Definitely she's one of the greatest female musicians in K-Pop. Hope she will comeback soon with new album🙏

I started following her when she released "Run," and enjoyed Subsonic the most, especially "Home." But overall, those three albums are amazing; I love how much emotion she puts into her voice. I'm hoping for a comeback as well, and hope to see her live someday!
