‘내 마음이 뭐가 돼’는 곡 작업에 앞서 넬의 김종완이 윤하를 만나 서로가 살아오면서 느낀,
만남과 이별에 대한 이야기들을 담담히 나누면서 시작되었다. 때문에 이 노래는 작위적인 감정의 찰나를 부각시키거나,
인위적인 힘으로 풀어내지 않았다는 점에서 돋보인다. 또한 사랑과 이별에 관한 이야기를 과거와 현재, 미래의 세 단계로 나누어
대화체로 풀어내어 한 편의 짧은 영화를 보는 듯한 감성을 자극시킨다.
이러한 구성은 사운드와도 완벽한 조화를 이룬다. 노골적이고 자극적인 소리를 최대한 배제하고
차분함 속에 절제된 리듬감을 중심으로 음악이 흐르듯 펼쳐진다. 가사 또한 사운드의 흐름과 조화되어
듣는 이로 하여금 곡 속에 오롯이 들어와 있는 기분을 느끼게 한다.

동네마트에서 저녁준비할려고 돌아다니다가 노래가 나오는데 목소리는 군대시절에 많이 들었던 윤하 목소리인데 멜로디는 넬인게 삘이 확와서 이노래 찾아내야겠다하고 네이버에 윤하 넬 치니깐 바로 이 노래 나오더라 각자 개성 제대로 살려서 정말 좋은 곡 만든듯
진짜 한 곡에 이정도의 감성을 담아서 부를 수 있는 가수가 몇 될까? 고음만 높게 지르면 다 잘 부르는게 아니라 한 곡에 그 느낌과 감정을 잘 담아내야 진짜 잘 부른다고 할 수 있는데 말이지..

No one has a voice like hers in Kpop. Thats why i like her lol. Whenever i look for Kpop singers i expected to find unique one of a kind voices. Like 15&,BoA,Eric Nam,and also of course Younha etc(idk why). i think they just appeal to me more in Kpop. Omg when i first heard Hyorin from SISTAR sing oh my goodness her voice tho lol. Believe me or not i just think that many Kpop singers sound the same i just get tired of it lol. Love you Younha! Fighting!

Karen Tsen I love IU but I think her voice sounds like a child... She can hit high notes but the feels is just different.

***** I think IU's voice has matured a lot, considering her most recent mini-album A Flower Bookmark. My Old Story moves me every time. Her voice in Sogyeokdong is youthful but the feel is definitely not from a child also. And yes, Younha and IU certainly give off different feels, that's how fortunately we get two outstanding solo singers. :)

I can definitely hear the Nell influence in this. If there's one female vocalist who can do justice to Jongwhan's compositions, it's definitely Younha.

Karen Tsen I’ve been listening to her for 7 years, don’t feel like it but I wish she’s as popular as the other kpop artist.

존나 넬노래에 윤하보컬느낌ㅋㅋ 노래개꿀
스테디셀러 같은 곡들이 요샌 많이 없는것 같은데 자극적인 멜로디라인이 없어도 말그대로 감상할 맛이 나는 윤하양의 곡들은 매력이있군요. 여운이 남는 듯한 전체적인 느낌이 좋습니다. 약간의 몽환적인 느낌도 나는것이 역시 넬의 분위기가 느껴집니다. 많은 뮤지션들과의 콜라보를 즐기는 윤하양답게 다양하고 정체되어있지 않는 모습들이 엿보입니다. 이입이 되는 가사와 여리게 감정을 섞어놓은 보컬 그리고 훌륭한 사운드 잘 들었습니다. 다행스럽게도 음악을 해온 시간과 비례하게 감성도 표현력도 짙어지는것이 느껴지는 듯 합니다. 잘 들었습니다.

I first heard her song when I was in 3rd grade, back when I lived in Korea. Even as a kid, I felt the passion and the emotion she had in her voice. Years have passed and I'm still listening to her songs, being touched every single time.

+임승희 I know. It's such a pity that they always give away their best songs. I mean Younha has an amazing voice and she sang this song very well, but Kim Jong Wan's voice would be perfect for this song.

I freaking loved this song, when it came out I was in my last year of high school. This brings back a lot of memories of how long I used to study (from when the library opened til it closed) and I listened to this as soon as I walked out the library cause by then it was dark out

이런 것을 보면 넬은 색깔이 참 확실한 것 같음 작사작곡을 했을 때 다른 가수가 불렀더라도 김종완이 만들었단걸 바로 알 수 있으니
이러지마 제발- 이부분에서 윤하목소리에서 김종완 목소리로 바뀌는거 레알 소름이다....
