Judoka Yung Wei Yang of Taipei was the sensation U60kg at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo and claimed a silver medal. He took bronze at the Worlds in 2022 in Tashkent. Yang won the East Asian Championships Hong Kong in 2016. Yang was number 1 of the IJF World Ranking for juniors U60kg in 2017. He clinched a silver medal at the Asian Pacific Championships in 2019. He took various IJF World tour medals in Qingdao, Hohhot, Budapest and Tashkent. He took silver at the IJF Judo masters in Doha in 2021. He bagged a gold medal at the Grand Slam in Antalya in 2022 and bronze in 2021.

Georgian judoka Giorgi Sardalashvili captured the Junior world title in 2021 in Olbia. He bagged a silver medal at the Junior European Championship in 2021. Sardalashvili has a good Georgian style. 1 place at the 55 kg Cadet European Cup in Türkiye 2020. He took gold at the Junior European Cup in Prague in 2021 and junior gold in Malaga in 2022. He secured a silver medal at the Grand Slam in Tbilisi in 2022. He finished with bronze at the Grand Prix in Zagreb in 2022. His role model is Ilias Iliadis. He took a silver medal at the Junior World Championships in Guayaquil in 2022.
