Fans can think someone is sexy, but to publicly announce it is another thing. Those fans who did call jungkook sexy while being a minor, were wrong. But there were also fans who just thought it and didn’t take it to the next step, which is ok. I’m also calling those ppl out in the comments calling yuna sexy when she’s a minor, because that is wrong too. E.Z It’s fine that it’s a compliment. It’s always fine when there’s good intention behind words. But that doesn’t mean it will always be interpreted that way. I would be uncomfortable if someone that i knew had the potential to be attractive to my gender said the same thing. I wouldnt know if it was a compliment. That word carries so much connotation behind it, from rapists to sexual harassment to girls saying it to their girl friends. That’s why I think we have to be careful. Society isn’t good enough to have the word “sexy” only have the connotation as being a compliment.

You're insanse if you believe kpop idols are don't know or don't want to look sexy. And her being a minor plays no role in here since apparently korean law is fine with her dancing sexy concepts on television. It's not like she's 10 years old. So either you apply korean law or you try to enforce your own bias on everyone else. Just because 16 is "too young" in the US or where ever you are doesn't mean everyone else feels like that too.

She's trained and told to look sexy by endless amount of personal dance trainers. If she read "sexy" she would just know that she did her job right. Being an idol is being an actor/actress to some degree. Play funny for funny concept. Play sexy for sexy concept. Play zombie for horror concept. It's her job to be sexy, it's her job to be funny, it's her job to be cute. Even if she doesn't feel like it that day she has to play the act on stage. She has to keep up a strict diet just to stay in shape even if it's unhealthful just to keep her up to korean beauty standards which are: white skin, small head, long legs, thin = sexy. I’m also sure there were fans who have tried to prevent it, but people just don’t stop sometimes. And if ur trying to justify ppl calling minors sexy because ppl did it when bts was underage, doesn’t justify on whether it’s fine or not.
