Damn man! After seeing the vid, I am so stoked on how this turned out. My versions of the deck were always current with the meta of 2013-15, so I would always use things like IMT but better like Forbidden Chalice. That being said, I never considered a variant with Fusilier/Gaia and Meta but I love it. Not to mention Cyber Stein. In fact, I think Last Warrior had some modern success because of Stein being taken off the banlist in the last 5 years or so. I also like how you reworked the concept of Light of Intervention into Trap Dustshoot and Tribute. Your reasoning makes sense. I thought, "why not Shield Crash?" but after watching I agree that the most generic monster removal works really well here. You just limit your opponent so much with Solemn, Dustshoot, Cylinder, and most of all Warrior himself. Thanks for the shout outs and thanks for the profile!

Heyyo!! So glad to hear the full thought out review. I’m really glad you stuck around for the card rationale. I definitely feel that generic monster removal (especially getting to choose the monster) with Dustshoot, Tribute to the Doomed, and NOCs are enough answers and cover a majority of this deck’s weaknesses. I also think the hand knowledge with Dustshoot is so valuable since it helps us decide the order when we should use our Solemns and IMTs. And usually, sniping a monster with Dustshoot and then following up with a NOC or Tribute feels really good. It’s so counterintuitive that Last Warrior’s one weakness is actually Monsters lol. Glad you were stoked, I’m so stoked too!
