Born and raised just outside of Philadelphia and Yuengling is the absolute king of cheap beers, very easy to get a 16oz 6 pack for a little over $8. Lived in Pittsburgh for a while too and completely destroys Rolling Rock and IC.

Oh really, That's cool, I've never been to Philadelphia before, but traveled all over when I was a kid. Yeah, its a good beer, its hard to believe its considered a cheap beer there. Jerry, that lacing is impressive. I have drank quite a few Yuengling Traditional Lagers. For me, it beats out Miller High Life, Coors Banquet and Budweiser (Heavy) PBR, and Busch. And may I say, it is delicious on draft. And the green bottles do contain the amber lager as well.

Yeah, I would agree it's better than those you have mentioned, but that Coors Banquet isn't far behind it though IMO. My favorite of all time!

We used to buy a bunch on vacation in Florida and bring it back home to Missouri, and now that we finally have it over here this is all I've bought lately. For a "cheap" or "cheaper" beer, it definitely does the job right!

Here in the east this beer is easy to find, and I believe I pay $2.99 for this sized can (maybe the extra charge in OK ($3.49) comes from shipping costs). Yuengling lager is a classic. Very nice review!

I have heard that in some areas its very easy to find. $2.99 is a great price for this size can. Yeah, it could be that reason about the shipping cost. I'm glad these Yuengling beers are expanding across the country, I've been drinking them for years here in Pa., it's great on tap. I pay either 2 for 7.00 or 2 for 8.00 for most 24 oz cans here, so 3.50 to 4.00 is normal for me. I do love the big cans though. Great review, cheers!! 🍺

Me too Wayne, it always gives me hope for Oklahoma, cause Oklahoma used to be one of the worst states for getting new Alcoholic Beverages, but since the new Alcohol law that took place around 5 years ago here, opportunities have started to show through. That's cool that it's one you've been able to have available for so long. I bet it IS great on TAP. Yeah man, that's around the price here as well, after tax. I enjoy those larger cans as well. This is one of my favorite beers. I always bought it when i lived in New York (watertown). It was cheap, delicious, and abundant! They also make a Lord Chesterfield which I would absolutely recommend. I now live in Washington state and I hope it comes here soon!!!!

Greetings from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. I've been drinking lager for decades. This particular beer is so popular in PA that if you simply ask for a lager in a bar, you can expect to get a Yuengling lager. My friend and I refer to lager as St. Richard's gift. A light version is also available; for the life of me, I can't tell the difference. Hope you continue to enjoy and consider trying all of the other options. Ciao.

Wow, that's pretty cool that its gained such a great following over the years, its strange when I started Reviewing in 2016 that there is so many popular beers that I had never heard of, and that a lot of them weren't much distributed out of their Home State. I would like to try the others soon for sure, I need to look for singles first, my budget these days has grown a little tighter, and if im going to review beers, I cant spend my budget money on pricey six packs unfortunately, but I'm sure I'll definitely get around to trying the other versions, Thanks for the comment, and info Michael, I appreciate it man, have a great Thursday , Cheers!
