Yuengling Lagers are one of the best base level, everyday beers. They really hit the spot when they’re ice cold.

My husband used to drink Budweiser Red but he don't drink trany fluid. He started looking for his new beer my husband drinks to King wants nothing to do with the queen of beers. He brought a six-pack of yuengling beer home he says that's the new king of beer. I personally don't drink beer but I tried he's right that's a really good. Thank you Budweiser for letting us know who the king really is.yuengling

They are now my go to beer....... Being from Missouri Always loved the Prestige of A&B but after they sold to inbev and have went insanely Woke... Yuengling seems like the only beer to drink now.

I never was a beer drinker (Jack Daniels) but with all of the dust up, I decided to support the ones that have my views so I gave yuenglings a try and I actually really enjoyed it and will keep buying it.

Yuengling chesterfield Ale is the oldest beer they still produce, introduced in 1934. They also have an entire vault of recipes from the original founder, all in German.

Chesterfield Ale is one of four beers yuengling brews that is only for sale in PA.

As a lifelong St.Louis resident,I'm looking forward to being able to enjoy Yuengling without a day long drive to get it..Never tried the Hershey's porter yet either!

chocolate in beer tastes like the marriage of perfect people who become totally dysfunctional after the wedding! Everything else from Yuengling is worth the effort to drink. Golden Pilsner is the best summertime beer, and the Porter or Black & Tan are great for wintertime. Traditional Lager is an anytime beer. Perfect balance, and full flavored without all that sickening over-hopped craziness these "craft" breweries think is so special. Only thing special about them is their millennial z wokey pokey.

Back in the seventy my family had a big party and my older brother had a friend that worked at brewery.when he and his fiends arrived he had a trunk load of the beer. we never heard of it how to pronounce it.once it was chilled it was a hit at the party.

I wish I could say that I'm switching from Bud to Yuengling as my cheap summer lager but I already switched years ago.

Yeungling is the only beer I know of that people are excited to see come to their state.

The brewery tour is really cool! Highly recommend. But it's really the only thing to do in Pottsville.

I used to drink Bud Red label but I find myself or hurt I can't drink their beer anymore. I live a life with conservative values I don't care I don't care if you confused if you're a boy or or a girl. I'm a grocery managers I work 65 to 70 hours and have for a long time. I just found the best longer beer I highly recommend this people's thank you bud wiser I just found my new beer

I'm 55 & a lifelong resident of the Phila area. My friends and I drank more Yuengling Lager in the early 1990's than I could ever count. Around 1995-1996 they became popular outside our area, they opened another brewery in Tampa and the taste changed. I haven't had a drop since

There was a period where they were brewing in Tampa and shipping it to PA because they were upgrading the brewery in Pottsville. I've heard that the taste difference is due to the water. At any rate, they returned production to Pottsville, so you might try it again to see if it matches your memory.

Not likely. Yuengling has done this before, through the mid-90s, the majority of the Lager was being brewed by Stroh's under contract. Dick Yuengling won't take on debt. He was cash up front for the purchase of the Tampa brewery, and building the new one in Pottsville. I expect this is the same strategy: contract with a big company to make more beer so you can expand, save the money from the expanded market sales, buy/build another brewery, end contract and produce it yourself going forward.

Is outselling Budweiser by now.

Hi Dick, I am proud supporter of Your product. Especially the Black & tan Brew. It is to Bad You had only Daughters, because We both Know Men enjoy a cold Beer better. Ha Ha. I am real disappointed in Budwiiswer lately & hope You surpass their production .Being a Fall weather Guy I hope You will produce Your Octoberfest earlier, I find this an excellent Brew. Yep, Yuengling is the house beer in most places, at least in eastern PA. It is the same as was made before Prohibition, something from the 18th Century.

I think PBR is as well. They made cheese products during Prohibition (sold to Kraft); unlike other breweries of the time, they kept their original beer recipes, and went right back at it once it was legal to do so. Their flavor is still what it was in the 1920's, when all beers of the time tasted pretty much the same, just like the pedestrian mainstreams today really don't differ much.

My local Bar and Grill turned me on to Shiner Bock 2 years ago..My go to had been Busch prior to that.. Shiner's Not bad! Has a richer flavor than A-B Amber Bock..Haven't tried Yuengling's Black & Tan yet..

For me, lightweight old lady who will go with AB ever again, I like the Flight.

I have not drank Yuengling since 2000, Last week I bought two twelve packs and will continue to buy Yuengling. The EPA was retaliating against Yuengling for endorsing Trump.

I'd like to say I boycotted Bud Light but as a lifelong Pennsylvanian Yuengling lager has always been my go to beer.

Good story, great beer ,my favorite

I enjoyed Yuengling even before their lager style beer was produced. The locals all called it as having your vitamin Y every day. I have tried all of their various brews and they are all good. But I like their lager the best. As for the owners political views, that is up,to him to decide what’s best for his family. As long as he makes great beer I will drink it. If you remember years ago when Coors was also a regional brewery and family owned some people tried the same thing on Coor’s. If the company sells a well made product the owners politics will not matter to most consumers.

never knew they made ice-cream. this is my favorite beer (along with miller highlight but i no longer drink) but if i see that ice-cream i'm bout to smash me some. - I want to try Hersheys and Flight also

Flight is OK, it's just a light beer based on their Premium/Premium Light, and doesn't taste like Lager (they have Light Lager for that). I'm thinking it's more of a marketing/rebranding...

Being from the Kansas City side of Missouri, I've never liked the St Louis AB beer. One day I saw Yuengling on display in a Walmart and I bought a pack. Good stuff. Yuengling is my choice of beer now.

Yuengling as a "craft" brewer is an insult to the actual craft brewing movement that started in the 80s and came back in the mid-00s to now. However, I do seek it out whenever I'm in NY state. It tastes better in cans in my opinion. I can't wait until they eventually bring it to VT.

Grew up in PA. I was a Rolling Rock drinker till AB bought it. Never liked Yuengling, still don’t. Dumb decision to support the felon. Wonder if they still do.

@DualMO it is, when americanized. The "ue" from German sounds like "oy" most times. So technically "yoingling" is how we should be saying it, but we speak English so our accents and language lead us to pronounce it as we read it, as Yungling or Yengling. We don't enunciate the differences in other German words, from hard throaty usage of "ch" to the distinction between "sch" and our "sh", so why get so heated over the americanization of a word?
