Yuba River Gold - Episode 90 - California Raging River Gold
Temperatures are rising, the snow pack is melting and the Gold Country rivers are raging. The best places to dig are flooded. We are on a mission to locate gold rich gravel to to feed the Angus. Motherlode flour gold wizard, Brother Burt, emits shouts of delight when his pan lights up with hundreds of tiny flakes. Our pleasure from the discovery of a loose standards picker, and a legitimate one as well, proves that we often easily amused. Gravel analysis is done, digging strategies are concocted and we sluice up some respectable clean outs in challenging conditions. All in all, it's another great day of mining high in the Sierras (pun intended).

Tim, just wonderful. Mother nature is so cool and the gold is just the icing on the cake. I like the way you enjoy nature at it's finest. River looks so colorfully green and raging and Bert is happy. @@MOSTIC2010 The river should be down enough to give you a good shot at finding a picker. Geno from Reno found a three gram nugget just digging in the bank at the first Nugget Hunt. A 10 year old boy founf two nice pickers in his first ever pan of gold two years ago. Aloha
