I think the representation has more to do with people not knowing what to play so fresh off the banlist combined with the general knowledge that Spyrals are great right now.

@@TeaGarrison agreed. I played against SPYRAL 5 out of my 7 matches for my IGAS Sneak Peek tourney at locals. Won all of them playing Magical Musketeers. Going second I used Super Poly to summon World Chalice Guardragon Almarduke (using Double Helix, Tri-Gate Wizard and Apollousa at material, then go to town. Going first, I try to get an opening board of Max with Dweller beneath using Starfire (Upstart/Pot of Desires and Instant Fusion for Mudragon).

I really appreciated the way he described his deck! For a while now, I have been pondering on the idea of building an Altergeist deck, and after watching this I have gained so much information. Most deck profiles are rushed as they presume that people understand the card effects and how they mix into combos. The description he provides for each card and explains why he runs each card, and the utility is soooooo helpful. 10/10 good video, keep up the good work :)

I really like this guy lol. I just picked up altergeist befor the PPG because my dracos are dead now lol so all his reasons and explanations really help me get the game plan down.

And this is what happens when we hit Red Reboot. At least we still have 3 Denko. Congrats to Pak for the win!

Red reboot was more broken then everyone thinks. Being able to pay half life and activate it straight from hand tips the balance of the game. The hit was deserved.

trying to build some budget competitive decks. I have some altergeist cards laying around so came on here to see a good profile. What are some good replacements for evenly matched, impermanence, and pot of extravagance cause I am not paying $500 to simply duel competitively at locals. He played like eighteen handtraps and the few typical gouki monsters

The only thing surprising about this top is that there wasn't more altergeist player despite the obvious boost in form of red reboot and pankratops limit and crippling all the other top dogs. The deck never went anywhere and is only going to get strong next pack. I d have lost faith if the deck winning was actually spyral.

Quik fix the first time. The deck is very predictable, they wanna get to the helix. So stop before the helix or stop the helix

You know what suck I live in Australia so yugioh isn’t that popular I go to see what locals will be doing and they say we only do speed dueling and I’m like rip so I buy the structure deck to learn it and omg it was so fun I recommend everyone at least try’s it

@@katnippgriffin3340 Yeah, but when I am using YGOPro or other program, it's better to have a written down decklist instead of relying on camera shots and words. Just makes it a lot more convenient and easier to add as oppose to constantly pausing and starting.

If you chain to manifestation to remove it from board before it summons it goes back to hand before it gets to equip to the monster since it's a normal trap and not a equip trap so it will resolve as much as it can.

Do you mean that play he made when he used spoofing to shuffle back the manifestation after ssing silq? If so, the "when it leaves the field effect" doesn't activate because shuffling a card into the main deck isn't considered leaving the field. Neither is using a monster as xyz material.

playing control going 1st you're already in advantage vs Spyral so long as they don't draw a blow out card, side needs to cover the losing game states rather than be win more
