*Sorry for the long wait on this Yu-Gi-Oh theme duel everybody! We had to work REALLY hard to make these two decks face each other in an entertaining way (modern combo decks don't play nice lol). We tried some new things here, but we hope you guys like it! Every decision was in the interests of showing off more exciting boss monsters, so you'll have to suspend your disbelief lol. @@styxxiii Typically Red Dragon gets a bit more value per interaction on average, but Stardust feels like it has a higher ceiling and better interruptions.

I'm imagining Yusei doing that long turn 1 in the anime while dueling Jack atlas, and Jack starts to fall asleep and crashes into a wall and explodes.

@@timtam2400 I totally get that. Stardust and Red Dragon are cool decks, too. But, many archetypes from the show get barely anything (certainly not enough to keep up today), or nothing at all. If you were a fan of anything else like I am, you're in a rough spot today.

@@matteogalli4355 Well I can be personally biased and say Fortune Lady, as it's my favorite haha. But really, most decks from the shows, any of them, aren't getting updates that can keep them relevant. I realize that's a tall order, but I feel a lot of cool stuff is lost because of that. One of the best duels I've ever had in my life was against a Gimmick Puppet player, which is nowhere near relevant and up to date last I checked. The animes have cool stuff worth keeping around, and I think the fanbase would appreciate they stuff they liked getting some love.

I think there were one or two other misplays on the RDA side as well, and the stardust side was definitely holding back in the start. I forgive it though because they made the duel actually entertaining

even synchron resonators gy effect , the destruction effect of red zone and crimson gaia's special summon RDA when a card is destroyed so YEAH HE TRIED HIS BEST and the duel was for the king 😈

I didn't know that these monsters were so op and yet they ban pot of greed

Pot of greed adds value to any deck, these monsters mostly boost their respective decks.

The number of opportunities to summon Red Supernova Dragon earlier on but was not done is painful.

A stark reminder that 70% of Yugioh monsters have attack and defense points for purely ornamental purposes. Still fun to see duels like this every once in awhile.

And not a hand trap in sight! No wonder this was so fun to watch, it really could have gone either way. Seriously, watching you trade blows was epic!

the opening animation was a really fun touch and it was nice to see more modern combos with these decks. would love to see more of these, like modern yugi's dark magician versus modern jaden's elemental heros, or even modern chazz's armed dragons with the thunder versions

These constant summon synchros or huge monsters decks can be really annoying when your deck is for fun. But it’s interesting seeing them against each other

There needs to be archetypes that rely on punishing more than one special summoning per turn, as the costs of special summoning can now be abused, such as sending cards to graveyard or banishing them. Now you can activate cards from graveyards and banish zones, so it's like the costs aren't even costs and just pure advantage

this was the greatest duel I've ever seen. Holy cow. they was fast paced and action packed. Is this closer to how the meta has become? Synchro summon on your opponent's turn?!?!?!?!?! I've never seen such a thing. I know I haven't been keeping up with the meta but this is ridiculous card battling action. You have to memorize your cards and hope for the best. The first turn was nearly 3 minutes long. Please make more videos like this. its a must. this is the best Yugioh channel on youtube.

The meta can have moments like this but Stardust and Red Dragon are pretty unique in the way they play. They can be pretty tough to pilot because of all the specific Synchro combinations, but their boss monster are super satisfying!

The deck is great, I highly recommend it as a budget option. Very powerful and consistent just weak to interruptions

This is the video I’ve needed for so long. I love RDA, and I’ve been waiting to see how the new cards played, especially against a Stardust deck.

I love building character decks and using updated cards that are retrains or cards that are similar to what the character would use in my head cannon. This was so fun to watch, and I'm definitely gonna try and incorporate some of the tactics I just watched into my Jack and Yusei decks. Round of applause for the duelists.

This was great! I think it would be neat if there was a little effect on cards when you use their effects or if they're negated. Sort of like adding the visual flairs of MD to your physical cards

No need for the apologies...perfection takes time...and everything was perfect fellas..the animation 🔥..the duel was intense...keep me on the edge of my seat the whole duel....only thing i have a problem with is the fact that i love all of the in between interaction while yall are dueling and it was mostly edited out this duel...to me thats what made yall duels the best outta every other channel..you guys are hilarious and true friends and it shows(dont even watch anyone else lol)hope yall don't take that out I'm future duels...but either way I'm still going to watch and support..salute fellas...keep up the excellent work

This was truly unique and in my honest opinion the way yugioh is at its best. A ton of different interactions between each duelist and lots of ways to counter each other made this really intense to watch. Im glad i recently decided to upgrade my Stardust Deck and got a good friend of mine a budget version of the red dragon Archfiend deck.
