Vermillion is reserved for Jack Atlas. Ruddy is an appropriate, alternative for a plant-base dragon deck. Unneccesary change from bloody... but ruddy, 'tomato' red... makes sense.

The owner of my locals sold me on a box and I proceeded to pull the absolute nuts. Literally best box possible without a Starlight. Diviner and mu beta. Literally last pack had the herald. My girlfriend has quite the entertaining experience watching on video call.

I feel you as a fellow budget Dino player, honestly I just play 2 copies of either Veiler as an Infinite Impernance budget option or like Ghost Ogre if removal is the name of the game or I can just run more backrow removal for those slots so I use it as a kinda side deck slot though I am considering getting 2 Nibiru, I don't think 3 is necessary cause besides Dragon Link nothing else really mass swarms

Playing against the Utopia stuff against you and Joseph was quite funny, I was legitimately scared of the deck since it was drawing all of these cards and gaining massive advantage only to make like, 1 negate. Remember kids, read the cards so that you realize that they're not good.

@@mohammadmurie I mean even without those cards it’s still good for a casual yugioh. You beef up a Utopia with protection and attack using the ZW. The monster effect negation is just a plus. Sad to hear it not be considered good just because it doesn’t completely stop you from playing the game. Unless I’m misinterpreting something.

@@magmaspacer1967 yeah I know it is good and is going to get even better when Dragner and Leo are released as with just 2 level 4 monsters get 3 monster negates or 2 monster negates 1 spell negate which is amazing and if you got xyz change tactics you will be drawing so many cards to make your hands even better. Can even get more negates depending on the plays made. So people are waving off this deck to early as it has some great plays.

Amazement time ticket. Their best card. Cimoooo: its actually a pretty decent card for the archetype. Bro..

Keep in mind with Ruddy Rose Dragon how it went from Blood Rose Dragon: We've had cards like Blood Sucker & Blood Mefist :( so there is no excuse.

I opened one box and got the starlight black rose! Pulling it really made me feel something especially when it reminded me of the time I sold a mint 1st Ed black rose dragon for £90 considering the price now

Just recently got back into yugioh stopped at the beginning of 5Ds. I just bought 28 singles and a sealed booster box of lightning overdrive wish me luck!

Best part of buying singles is I dont have any bulk I have to organize. Got my Mu Beta Fafnir and no regrets.

I was actually pretty happy with my pulls. I admit, I wish I got a Ruddy Rose Dragon, but I did get a Book of Lunar Eclipse, almost all the Rose Dragon support, and even Amazement Arlechino.

I opened 12 packs so far and I managed to pull my starlight rare Lynn the light charmer lustrous witch was the starlight I wanted

Every opening I’ve seen, people have pulled the ruddy rose dragon. Definitely won’t happen with mine😂

Back during the Sneak Peak, I bought two boxes boxes and two kits. Pulled 2 Diviner and 3 of the new Traptrix monster.

Can you review the monsters from the mini Rebecca arc and Dungeon Dice Monster arc? A BattleCity monster review would be long as fuck and I’m here for it too lol.

I guess you could say the War Rocks came and Wento edit. I must say there are just way to many awesome cards in lightning vortex to even choose from ;D

Was able to get a Preview batch, got super lucky and pulled a Diviner of the Herald! Best pull I’ve had this year! 😁 Liking the set!

Scrap Raptor and the Paleozoic Link caught my eye

We pretty much pulled about the same. The only thing I didn't get was Amazing Time Ticket me Amazement Family faces, so hopefully those stay at a decent price cause after play testing I really like the archetype.

The fact that Konami didn't include Utopic Future Dragon as an import in this set is truly mind boggling.

For those wondering, Ruddy is an euphenism of Bloody. So TCG Konami did genuinely try to keep the "Bloody" while censoring it.

I got to open a box yesterday unfortunately I got the war rock metoragon, also did not get the tribirigade link, but I did get 3 copies of the zw xyz card

I bought two random packs and pulled both Amazement monster cards. Now I want that time ticket!

Mmmm those secrets though cimoooo..:)

I agree it should be way better, but it's still 4 times more relevant cards than the rest of the year combined (only Prosperity I could think of). I really don't understand why did they release so many amazing products in the year of the pandemic (Adamancipator, Eldlich, Infernobleknight, VW, Drytron, Needle, Linkross, Accescode, Linkross, Zeus, Verte and Dragoon, Chaos space, etc) and now when restrictions are being lifted in many countries and more remote tournaments are taking place, they release Soul Taker (I know it outs Dragoon, like only 1024 other cards) 2.0 and Lesser Poly. P.S Even sadder than how terrible the first sets were is how hyped dzeef and Cimoo were paid to be.

I'd pulled diviner from a box when from the beginning i just wanted the sneak peek, and sold it in an instant.

I think it's funny that "ZW - Dragonic" Halberd is better than "ZW - Leo Arms" by a lot, but "Leo Utopia Ray" is completely better than "Dragonic Utopia Ray" in almost all regards.

Lmao true while Dragonic has its uses you are just better off using Leo has it is an amazing turn 1 play to get 2 monster negates while Dragonic can negate more it is only on your turn which isn't all that useful by that point. For the ZW's yeah as their equip effects having a swarming one that you can just re-equip is better than just a 2nd attack from Leo Arms that sends itself to the graveyard, I don't know what Leo Arms effect is but Dragonic Halberd allows to search specials. I love the irony that they are inverse of each other

@@mohammadmurie here are the effects in summary: ZW - Leo Arms detaches a material to add a ZW monster from deck to hand and ZW - Dragonic Halberd detaches to add a Zexal Spell/Trap from Deck to hand. They both have the 3000 ATK equip effect, but Leo sends for second attack while Dragonic sends for swarm. Dragonic Utopia Ray equips a ZW when attacked from hand or Deck, then can detach 1 to negate up to all ZWs equipped. Leo Utopia Ray equips a ZW from Deck or Extra Deck detaching (cannot negate) and can negate and half the attack of a monster while equipped.

I got two boxes and got 3 secrets per box and 3 to 4 ultra a box. Best pull was Diviner

An incentive for me to buy the box due to containing cards related to A.I. and Akiza (a fan of 5DS and Vrains).

I think the box is mappable. The first pack is always a secret rare.

Normal rares with just the silver letters do not exist anymore? And there are always two secret rares in a box?

@@Ronald_Ruck The new big expensive rares are Collectors Rare and Starlight Rare basically. Sets don't mix them usually you can only get one or the other. Collector Rare sets tend to have more reprints and instead of commons they have rares (silver letter cards) while starlight sets (usually core sets with all new cards) have commons, supers, ultras, and secrets with no rares

I don't understand your question but I will try to make the most of it. You can activate one pendulum monster as a pendulum spell card in one of your pendulum zones. They cannot be activated as spells in other zones on the field. They are treated as continuous spells, this means: - You cannot activate another pendulum card in a pendulum zone until the other one has left the pendulum zone (So you cannot activate it over another, sending the other one) - They will not resolve their effects if they are destroyed before resolution (just like fieldspells, continuous traps and continuous spells) - They cannot be set facedown - A pendulum zone is only a pendulum zone when there is a pendulum card in that zone. Otherwise it is a regular old spell and trap zone. - Their effects are not activated on activation of the card itsself unless stated otherwise. (This would be phrased as: "when/if this card is activated (you can activate this effect):" making it impossible to chain cards that respond to spell activations in response. - If you want to get rid of cards in the pendulum zone you can: destroy, send, banish it or perform any other type of removal regarding cards the pendulum or spell and trap zone. This can be performed by any type of card: spells, traps or monster effects. Finally something about the face up extra deck rulings: - Pendulum cards when destroyed will go to the face up extra deck regardless of wether they are send from the spell and trap/pendulum zone or the monster zone. There are several exceptions: 1. If a card or effects has resolved and/or is applying an effect that states: All cards send to the grave are banished instead. (Dimension shifter for example) all pendulum cards are banished instead of going to the face up extradeck. This is because pendulum cards are still sent to the graveyard when they are removed from the field. However the hidden rule that states: pendulum cards go to the face up extradeck if sent to the graveyars is replaced by the other mentioned effect. 2. Pendulum cards sent from deck to grave will end up in the grave. This is because cards in the deck have no type, level or pendulum tag. Hence the game will not treat the card as a pendulum card but as a monster (foolish burial send darkwurm for example) 3. Discarding a pendulum card for cost will allow it to be in the grave as well. A pendulum card that is discarded has not been on the field and will not go to face up extradeck. 4. A pendulum monster that is detatched as an XYZ material will not go to the face up extradeck as it has no attributes and is not on the field. (It is a material) 5. If the activation of a pendulum scale (spell) or summon of a pendulum monster is negated they have never successfully been activated/summoned and hence they will not execute their effect to go to the face up extradeck but will instead be in the graveyard. Last but not least: Pendulum cards cannot be sent from the field to the graveyard as a cost. (Ex: forbidden droplet, because they are not sent to the grave but go to face up extra instead)

@@kidkatanatv It is easier I agree, but if you play tournaments you wil inevidably run into a pendulum player eventually. If you know these rules they cannot cheat against you so it is always in your advantage to know your rulings. With that being said, my first deck was a pendulum deck just over 1.5 years ago when I started playing. A lot of the rules seem counter intuitive but are deep down pretty logical once you get a deeper understanding of why rulings are they way they are. The decks and mechanics the cards bring are very fun and you can always contact me if you need some help with a specific ruling!

So if you bought a box, where you one of the winners for that promotional game mat as well? I bought 5 packs and was able to get a mat with my one ticket lmao. Anyways, in my 5 packs the only ones worth mentioning is the Amazement Attendant Comica

Cimooo, you are not serious about Utopia deck right? That deck can now spam a bunch of xyz monsters and make some good negate effects and stuffs, do not underestimate that deck Cimoo because there is always a big karma. If you are not sure about something, don't talk bullshit because you are not liking a deck, next box with supports will make this deck meta

I know right Cimo waved it off saying drawing 12 and getting only 1 negate and getting a conclusion the deck as a whole is bad, that just shows that guy either did not make a good build or was seriously unlucky to not draw anything as the new support Leo Ray granting 2 negates and Dragner summoning out any number 1 to 100 and can grant you 1 or 2 more negates and still drawing a huge amount of cards can be really devastating to decks That is why I am saying it will be a viable strategy to run in a competitive format as 4 negates is nothing to scoff at as well as can easily otk your opponent
