I mean they do go out of their way to make worthless cards and short print the cards that are good. No one wants to pay for 3 deck boxes to not get what we want. Buying singles is just the best way to go .

I laughed and cried when he pulled a firewall darkfluid, the cover card of the box and didn't really care. I once pulled The Creator UltR from Rise of Destiny as a kid, and yeah, I never used it, but I was stoked as hell.

Yeah, I get that it's not a great card, but that's why I cried. It's the cover card. It SHOULD be a good pull, but it's not. I mean, they chose 1 card to represent this set, so in theory it should be awesome to get that card. But the reality of it is that it isn't.

I feel like the insane price of marincess is going to negatively affect the competitive experimentation of the deck. If marincess looks like it is going to stay in that tier 2/rogue category I doubt players are going to shell out (get it? They're fish) the money for a deck that has this many secrets. Especially when the prices are inflated because they both come from very underwhelming sets.

Yeah, it really blows. I already knew they were going to be more expensive than necessary because of waifu tax but this is just ridiculous. Guess I'll just keep playing Paleofrogs for now.

Bought my first box the other day. Ended up pulling Striker Dragon, Unchained Soul of Disaster, Test Panther, Starliege Seyfert, and Draco Berseker of Tenyi.

That hop-eardd bunny is a good card played with lv4s, can make vulcan on opponent's turn, so basically u get a compulsory but not backrow

I have a question about the game: when i have a pendelzone can i place there special summons from extra deck or do i need link monster ?

My best pulls from the Sneak Peek were Salamangreat Pyro Phoenix, Unchained Soul of Disaster and Unchained Abomination. Of those three, Abomination is a great generic Link 4 that provides great spot removal. I can see this card being played in many Extra Decks. The Tenyi Synchro monster should also not be overlooked. It gets stronger every time it destroys an Effect Monster, can make multiple attacks and also provides spot removal via banishment of monsters. Plus, it’s a generic Level 8 Synchro, which makes it relatively easy to summon.

So Cimo. When will we get a Glad Beast profile 😘

Dream Mirror is a bloody awesome idea as a mechanic, it's a shame it doesn't have enough support :( we can hope

My only thought process is if you play Berserker of the Tenyi inside of an otherwise pure Glad Beast deck, you should be able to set yourself up to where you just might be able to make what I would like to call a V-Block on the board, shutting your opponent out of special summons, but I just might be dreaming too big

@@casinoroyal93 can't disagree on that. It's really hard to get the necessary cards for a deck to make it good and efficient. I mean Blue Tang herself is at $35 and most people are also using Impermanence in the deck too

It's a Secret rare that came out in a very good Set with Salamangreat in the Meta playing it and being untouched from the banlist at that time and now there are another 2 new Archetypes that can use it and could see potential Meta play (those 2 being the already mentioned Marincess and @Ignister in Ignition Assault)

@@casinoroyal93 I mean, it's not for no reason. Salamangreat needs it (meta relevant), Marincess needs it (decent rogue tier deck), and @ Ignister will use it too (who knows). I feel lucky because I picked 3 copies up when they weren't crazy expennsive like they are now.

@@GizmekGalaxy Yes but not near Savage Strike. The Ranks would be like: 1. Savage Strike 2. 3. Dark Neostorm 4. Rising Rampage, Chaos Impact

I think John might have made a point on this, but would you say that Chaos Impact feels similar to Shadow Specters. In the sense that the set itself isn’t bad, but they don’t have enough of an actual “impact” to radically change the Meta.

I got 3 Yatas, 2 Pyros and an IP coming soon but I may get a box or two since I haven't grabbed one in a while. Unless I completely bomb I wouldn't mind a bunch of the rares/supers and commons and I can trade/sell some of the secrets I don't care for this weekend to at least come close to even.

Thanks for what you do cimoo. I can't bring myself to buy one of these. But I do have a question for anyone who would like to give a suggestion. My son wants nothing but yugioh stuff from the chimney invader this year. Hes 6, and can play pretty impressively. We have worked our way up to pendulum summoning now pretty decent. Anyway, we don't have a bunch (less than 1000) cards. He has an exodia, cyber drag, blue eyes, zombie, and endymion deck that are mostly built from structure decks. What are you guys thoughts on a good sealed booster box to buy him? I bought 50$ worth of generic, but good synchros, xyz, and some spell and traps to round out the decks we have pretty good. What say you guys?

Doomking only needs any field spell face up on the field, not specifically zombie world, so he would come anyway

It varies, Yugitubers like Cimo are supported by Konami and get prdoucts in advance to review them, others get them at the Sneaks because of connections etc. As a normal customer you won't get stuff beforehand, except you pre-ordered them and it arrives at your destination prior release, because the supplier fucked up the date of shipping.

Aromages are at least 10 times better than what they were before this set, unfortunately they need to get even stronger to be able to compete at the very top. But they might be a good rogue option for locals and regionals as a control deck. As for marincess I don't think they're honestly that good, in fact I reckon Aromages are stronger than them right now.
