He abused the Blazeman and FIRE type HERO cards in the early stage of GX manga. Very different from anime.

There are so much Elemental Heroes that they could have their own tv show like the Avengers or the Justice League. The younger forms could have their own tv show like the Teen Titans. Their main enemies would be the Evil Heroes, and they would also occasionally fight monsters from other archetypes. They could even sometimes fight or team up with the Destiny Heroes. Get on it, Yugioh producers! You know you can see this happening and working out!

The supports can be there weapon or power base, while spell cards are magic that monster can cast

Trivia. In the manga, elemental heroes weren't first used by Jaden, but by another dude. Then Jaden to use a deck of his own, started to use masked heroes.

As a kid, manga Jaden used his anime cards and then used the Pro Duelist's after he fell into a coma. He started using Masked Heroes towards the end of the series and then has a duel against the Pro Duelist after he awakens from his coma.

Andrew Reos I mean, a key card is A Hero Lives. They're american comics heroes. Even if they die, it's usually not for long/they didn't actually die/a version from another time/dimension/whatever replaces them, etc.

So, this has been my favourite archetype since GX era. Elemental HEROs. Masked, Destiny, Evil, Contrast, Vision, Entertainment, etc HEROs are varying levels of cool as well, but Elemental HEROs are what I truly love. Seeing an archetype video dedicated to them means a lot to me. Thank you so much for this.

Me **remembering an old guy returning himself to prime of his life by absorbing duel spirits with help of secret beasts, syrus and dino boy being turned to car and dino, talking human dolphin, all of the stupid censurship, Jojo reference known as Saio ( Arukana Fōsu Tuentīwan - Za Wārudo), gay parade dragon, posesion by alien hermaphrodite, fusion of teenager and an intersex demon who was in love with him, and the final duel between Yugi and Judai** Also me: "yes, Clayman in the buggy was the dumbest shit in this series. Tottaly"

Necroid Shaman is a "ROID" monster. Despite it looking like a hero monster and having a hero name, it's actually a machine with googly eyes in disguise under that mask.

Sadly, that is a 4kids pointless change that will probably only get fixed if they ever release a non machine roid archetype. In japanese his name is necro darkman. Though Dark Jeroid is in the roid archetype in japanese as well. Same with Darkness Neosphere being in the Neos archetype. Though that may only be because they didn't do the final season of gx. (i'm definitely not sad about that though). Tag force 3 did get released in other english speaking countries, just not usa. They caused so many problems with the pointless name changes.

20:09 my theory is that alot of the elemental heros are just regular monsters from different groups, who decided they want to be superheros under one banner (which is why some share atribute, type, effects, and atk/def values similar to other groups).

I’d argue Clayman is also partially based on the Hulk Buster armor due to the mechanical looking joints and limbs

Water, earth, fire and air long ago the elements hero's where cards with no video about them many had tried but it was a April fools joke but now I believe thanks to TGS Anime we finally got the video

when I get to the fusions: hearing ''Must be special summon , cannot be special summon by other ways'' 300 times...

They’re so many because the writers create a new one every time they write themselves into a corner

E-Hero Flash Could still be based on "The Flash," specifically, banishing himself and 3 other monsters could be a reference to the Flash comic where Barry Allen flash sacrifices himself to destroy the Anti-Moniter's Multiverse destroying doomsday weapon. The other 3 monster could be a reference to the other 3 incarnations of the Flash - Jay Garrett, Wally West and Bart Allen.

Have you ever noticed that the altered anime version artwork of Elemental Hero Prisma is very reminiscent to the fusion dance pose from Dragon Ball Z? This is actually quite fitting since this monster takes up the role of substituting one of the required monsters of a fusion.

A series based on the elemental heros and there adventures would be incredible, change my mind.

All of Elemental HERO Bubbleman’s fusions are passive in nature - Gain LP - High Defence - and protection from destruction Edit: could this be a reference to Batman’s rule of not killing people?

E-Hero Captain gold can also take insperation from a Power Ragngers-Lost Galaxy character known as Magna Defender, both having a red cape, both are covered in metalic suits, both have horns and the patern in the suit is pretty close, not to mention that the power rangers are heroes in their own right and the lost galaxy tv show came 12 years before the release of captain gold so it could serve as and insperation

I believe BullBlack From Seijuu Sentai Gingaman (aka the inspiration of powers rangers lost Galax) is the 1 who inspired captain gold, as it's the og one. Thought apparently lost Galaxy has a Japanese dub so 🤷

It was the first time in the game, for me at least, where it felt like you could start to really strategize your deck to get super powerful combos off instead of set a card, summon a monster, rinse repeat until you get a tribute out with hefty stats or someone wins.

Electrum could be based on Captain Planet. Think about it. Also, Tempest shares it's fusion combination with Gate Guardian. In fact, this might be a theory, but Jaden got the idea of this monster from the Paradox Bros. by combining the elements of Thunder (Sanga of the Thunder and Sparkman), Water (Suijin and Bubbleman) and Wind (Kazejin and Avian).

Now just imagine if he had done the _entire_ HERO archetype, instead of just the Elemental HERO sub-archetype. The video would have been, like, 3 hours long.

Some extra trivia on HEROes, in the Japanese version, E-HERO monsters have their name end with “man”; Bladedge is Edgeman, Avian is Featherman, Burstinatrix is Burstlady, Windheart is Wildman and so on. D-HERO monsters on the other hand always end with “guy”. D-HERO Celestial is Divineguy, Dreadmaster is Dreadguy, Drilldark is Drillguy and so on and so on.

less likely that Voltik and Flash are based on Static, more likely Black Lightning as there have been multiple of them canonically as well.

i would say neo Bubbleman was based off Prometheus, an evil reflection of batman

They might not be tournament calibur, but these guys always intrigued me on how they combine their powers together when fused.

The dislikes are from the D heroes, Evil heroes and masked heroes. No suprises there.

Sparkman was also inspired by ironman, another hero with plenty of other armaments

That is just an amazing piece of content here, for those who love the series and TCG itself.

The funny thing in the dub during the episode “the maiden in love” spark man makes a reference to Elemental hero Sparkwoman.

We need a good retrain for Neos with a good effect heck even Neos fusions involving the other Heroes. Heck Vanguards Engimans are perfect concepts for Neos fusions involving the other Heroes.

And also in the Japanese version of the first season of gx all the elemental heroes had different card art until they were changed into the artwork we typically see in the US versions
