There is one thing to note that shows when somebody is likely lying: When they are asked a question, they turn around and look anywhere but at the person who is asking a question (be that a prosecutor or a defence attorney), they look at a judge, at a jury, at anybody else. In a sense they are looking for some sort of approval.
