    Honestly the addition of the Japanese KZreadrs was an incredibly smart move. It's so refreshing to see these personalities for the first time. Honestly, if I didn't feel like the language barrier would hold me back, I would go watch their content. Edit: The few I have looked up actually have some English subtitles, or the video's don't require them at all. So please, so support these channels!

    It kind of makes sense when I think about it. It's kind of something Japanese seem to generally think about the Western World is that "english is so cool" a lot of Different things in Anime have English terms I. Them simply to add a foreign or mystical flare to it and half the time the terms are nonsense. Bleach got its name just because the creator thought it sounded cool. In the Japanese Dub of DBZ Vegeta has all of his moves in English because Toriyama thought it sounded really alien. Even a lot of Japanese music has a few lines of English thrown in every now and then to add flare.

  • @BandagedThumbs

    @BandagedThumbs

    0oTCYSo0 I'd argue that English is one of many languages that are very hard to learn. For example, our conundrums in our language like pineapple (being there no pines or apples in such) or stuff like if vegetarians eat vegetables, then what do humanitarians eat? The way we pronounce things and how they correlate to how we spell them is also complex and confusing, like saying through as in throo or having overlook and oversee being two very different things even though look and see are practically the same.

    Rasmus Höglund I'm not really talking about curse words, I'm more mainly talking about normal conversations or some badass poetry and stuff. In borderlands 2, when you play as Zer0 in Japanese in his action skill, his haiku's sound soooo cool. so the subject of the matter isn't really curse words, its just the language itself put into formal situations like dialogue.

    Well yeah, both are romance lenguages so its easier to relate to them since they come from the same place, we could add fonethics then.

    6:54 I personally think Japanese sounds much more refined, and the expressions are very elaborate IMO.

    Introducing Japanese youtubers was an amazing idea! I find myself agreeing with them a lot more. And I think a reason we in the UK & US are so fascinated by their culture is because of clear differences like they pointed out, such as the way staff treat you in a shop
