Sandi did this song at my church in Las Vegas in the 80's. I was in the front row. I felt like Jesus was going to come get us that night. Her voice is amazing!!!

I remember the first time I heard this in the 80's and I felt God was coming right at that moment. I had put my little ones down for their nap and was having a quiet time. I turned on the radio and heard this song and was frozen in rapture. 37 years later - still as blessed and powerful!

Every time I hear her sing this song, I'm moved! Such an AWESOME voice...And "We Shall Behold Him" one day. Praise God for sending His Son!

She definitely has a voice of an angel. I never heard of her until now and this is definitely one of the very best renditions of this song that I have ever heard.

The first time I heard this song was back in the 80's. It's now 2020 and I still get the same goosebumps like the first time I heard it.

In 1985, my future wife (and now, unfortunately, 27 years later, my ex-wife) listened to this song the night we got engaged. I am from Sandi's hometown and am a family friend, so this song has a special meaning to me, as strong now almost as it did on the night of my engagement.

2021 and I can truly say I cannot wait to behold him. Even so come quickly Lord. Thank you Sandi

I first heard this in 1984 at one of her concerts and you could feel the Holy Spirit there. One of my all time favorites. The way she can hit those crescendos

Sandi was so anointed by God when she did this. Humble...you only think about God when she sings.

Yes, no one comes close. She is a vocal marvel and virtuoso.

This is extraordinary. how does she do it? Sandi Patty is probably the best singer there ever was.

Forgot how anointed she is! Used to buy & play all her records til I could no longer find anything by her.

Wow!....only the Lord could give such beautiful and gorgeous voice with the grace with which she sings this master piece. God be praised alwaays, now and forevermore!!!

I thank God for blessing sandi patti with a beautiful gift, her voice and she is using it to glorifie Him

I have yet to hear a better singer and that includes Callas. This woman sings for the glory of God and is awesome because of Him and Him alone.

My friend listens mostly to opera but loves Sandi because he said unlike most sopranos in opera, Sandi sounds great not just hitting the high notes, but when she sings in her lower range and soft songs.

I should clarify that the term crescendo is basically only a term when you build on a long note or a few notes in the music. I just used the term loosely to try and describe how her entire songs go. She starts out so quietly in a lot of her great songs and end with the big finishes! "How Great Tho Art" and "Unshakeable Kingdom" and "We Shall Behold Him" perfect examples.

I saw her sign this at a concert at ORU Maybee Center back in '84. So moving

Who would ever say Sandi Patty is ugly? I don't know otherwise but I know in this video she has a beauty that surpasses her lovely voice!!!

Thank you Sandi all the way back to the 80's for singing in a simplicity that anymore is most overlooked in the modern age or questioned. I do remember, and the effort right down to the heart I think you conveyed the genuine message in one moment of time. For all that means...

whether or not you believe, one can't help but stand in awe of the greatness we all only "see dimly as in a mirror" to try and describe. What a testament to the greatness of spirit beyond our earthly understanding! Sandi Patty blows me away!

Not many had heard of her or heard her sing before then...BUT on July 5th she was national news! The most perfect rendition of our National Anthem EVER! Overall tho', her songs of worship are the most inspiring of all. Glory to God!

I'm not religious, but I love, love LOVE Christian music!!! A beautiful soprano used to sing this song every Easter at my church growing up, and it always moves me to tears.

Sandii is a generational gift from above. We may never hear anything this beautiful and pure in our lifetime again!

When I first heard this song and this voice , I was dumbfounded..What an amazing artist a song that belongs in the Hall of Fame of Christian music

We saw her on this tour in 1983 in Anaheim with the Gaithers...Carmen...it was one of the greatest concerts I have ever attended. I will never forget this....this was right before, the Gaithers and Gary sang The King is Coming....and Get all Excited.

Got a glimpse of Sandy on TV tonight and reminded me about this song We Shall Behold Him should be brought back Sandi bring it back we need it today our Savior and Lord is coming soon

Everytime I here her sing this song I can't help but bust out in tears. Just to even image that day. Wow!

I saw her once in concert you can never forget her voice.

I saw her perform this live... weeks after a show producer I was working for had denied her a place in 1 of his casts because Sandi, "wasn't pretty enough" ! Baby, the night I saw her, th' cow sang this song, I'll tell ya right now! She was a wonder!
