Am I the only one that can't stay seated hearing this?? I'm on my knees, or standing with my arms raised, or just flattened. Tears streaming down my face. I believe when we experience God in such a powerful way, healing comes and evil spirits can't STAND the sound of praise and worship. Like nails on a chalkboard to the demonic realm! Sandi Patti is my most beloved Christian singer. She blessed my childhood with good music. I'm 56 now and still love Sandi.

Had the chance to work with Sandi a few years ago..What a nice person! She has without a doubt one of the greatest voices on the planet! Thank you, God, for making Sandi Patty!

I was 26 when I first heard this song and I thought Wow! What a great melody. I am 61 now and it brings back memories of the person who brought me to the Lord back then. I sure miss him but someday I know I will see him soon when Jesus returns for his people to take us to heaven with him. Amen

After getting lost in college, Jesus came and saved me. To show my gratitude, I sang this song in a campus Bble church where I had been baptized...I was really nervous while singing, but many folks were touched by it. Thanks Lord for rescuing my from my self.

I completely agree. I’m 23 and I loved this music when I was 12. This is just fantastic and oh so real.

I am in my 60s and this rendition of Sandy Patty's How Great Thou Art, still gives me chills and is the best to this day. Praise God.

I am 35 years old. I was told by my parents that when I was a baby i would have night terrors and I was afraid of the dark into my teenage years. They would pray over me and play Sandy Patty and that’s the only way they could get me to sleep. Eventually God literally took away the fear of darkness from me spiritually and physically. Because what do we have to fear if we know that our savior is Jesus and all things have been wrought in him 🙏🏽🙌🏽

I was 25 yrs old in 1985 when I first heard her angelic voice. It was a very challenging time for me but her music through. Her voice moves me like no other. Thank you, Sister Sandi. ❤️🙏🏾🙂

Sandi Patty was my first musical influence. The first time I heard her sing, something settled in my spirit and said, Yes, this is it. Her songs and arrangements of hymns continue to be a blessing to me. What a wonderfully, anointed gift!!

I had the pleasure once of hearing her singing scales in her hotel room the morning before a concert! She has an INCREDIBLE vocal range. I heard her hit notes so high no piano can hit them. Thank You Abba Father for creating Sandi Patty and giving her such a beautiful and powerful voice.

What a blessing to hear the beautiful gifted voice God gave Sandi !!! I’ve listened to this so many times and still get chills hearing her soul sing out to our Wonderful Great and Holy God!!! She gives me inspiration to exercise my voice and use it for God’s glory. Perhaps I will be able to collaborate with a friend and also come up with a unique rendition that expresses my heart and soul to the Lord. He is so worthy to be praised!!! A great vocalist for sure, but if we're talking about any genre of music.....then I'm not sure I would consider her one of the greatest in the entire history of the US. I'm not saying this to be mean, but in the world of opera alone, she would actually be considered quite average. That's how high the standard is in that genre. However if we're talking about praise and worship, that is all irrelevant. All God wants is a worshipful heart, to worship in Spirit and in truth, and to make a joyful noise. No need to sing on pitch, on beat, on key....nope, just worship.

I grew up listening to Sandi Patti and Steve Green. It’s been over 30 years and this song and ‘we shall behold Him’ still gives me goosebumps and tears when I listen to them. I wish this style of singing was popular amongst my peers these days instead of the autotune-pop sound of Gomez and Bieber (which in comparison to Sandi's voice, require almost NO effort beyond some muscled ornamentation and lotsa lemon water), SO rich and gorgeous. I have this style of voice, but I have no idea how to use it in church, since all the music is epic pop ballads, and you can't exactly belt out some realskie-opera-sassafrass without getting some stares and laughter. But I love listening to this and hearing the passion and technique...and overall, she's honest-to-goodness WORSHIPPING God, and that's the most important thing ever when singing. I love it!!! Thanks Sandi for letting God sing through you!
