    2 Editing tips: 1. Even in this video you’ll see this done, we have the attention span of a gold fish now, so count to 3 if you can, and make the scene change whether it’s a dynamic zoom or cut to another scene. Make some sort of movement for the viewers eyes. 2. Have more creative cuts, a few times in those video you’ll hear him talk before we see the scene of him actually talking. Use music to lead yourself into the next beat to put your next scene. Plenty of creative options here.

    I just got fully monetised a few days ago! And around 2 weeks before that I hit 1000 subscribers, it was a very long and difficult journey of 3 and a half years of much effort and a little frustrating but I achieved the big goal, I never gave up, I kept going and going. So if you still not monetized don't worry you will do it just be consistent and don't give up never.

    And realize the algorithm 'hates' you for being small. Vidiq keeps denying it, but it is true and it makes sense. So you should employ things to try and trick the algorithm into thinking you are somewhat bigger than you really are... and be patient and wait for opportunities.

    No...the audience does not always have a choice. There are plenty of channels I've subscribed to and set notifications for, that are suppressed, shadow banned or deboosted. Some channels have been removed from my notifications list or even automatically removed from my subscriptions. This is a real issue with KZread, so do not gaslight people into thinking that KZread always gives viewers a choice.

    I totally get this about KZread. It is really hard and indeed it's not an exact science. What is very very consistent is that the more videos I post the better the success is when one of the long videos becomes successful. I do dedicate more time on the thumbnail and on the title these days and in general I am getting better views and subsribers. To anyone out there who thinks KZread is hard work, I can testify to that :), but consistency is what saves a channel in the end. More important than consistency is perseverance. Keep going and never give up and take breaks. They are very helpful to get creative.

    Great video! I'm a small channel myself, and I'm always looking for ways to improve my reach and growth. I found your tips to be very helpful and informative. One thing I particularly liked was your emphasis on creating high-quality content that is relevant to your audience. This is something that I'm always striving for, and I know that it's one of the most important factors. I think it's important to note that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to the KZread algorithm. What works for one channel may not work for another. It's important to experiment and find what works best for you and your audience. It's also important to be patient. It takes time to grow a successful KZread channel. Don't get discouraged if you don't see results immediately. Just keep creating great content and promoting your channel, and you'll eventually start to see growth. Thanks again for the great video!

    STOP....It's not about a niche, whoever told you that needs to be kicked in the teeth. What you need to do is find a way to become valuable in whatever industry you are apart of. Forget Niche, that makes it sound like only certain people will like your content if you cater to their bias needs. Screw all of that, be someone who has real world value, have experience, have stories to tell, that is what people really want. They want truth tellers vs all these fake ass scammers we have now. People want to learn from others who have fallen hard in life, got back up and succeeded. Are you one of those people? If so, your niche will not matter at all, but your personality and energy are what will attract people to you long term. It doesn't matter what niche you are in, what matters is, are you worth listening to and if so...why?

After watching some of these videos I have shredded parts of what I was going to do on my next video that’s a work in progress and see if I can empathize more of a hook at the beginning in my case

    Because it is true the algorithm will always be against small channels

  • @bbreak
    @bbreak10 ай бұрын

    Still too simple, though... obviously the algorithm does 'hate' small channels because, indeed, it pulls videos for viewers and it's more likely people will enjoy content from a big established channel over a small channel that still has to proof its worth... So, as a small channel, you can make a great video with a perfect thumbnail and title and still get hardly any impressions... even if audience engagement is amazing! Ask any big channel how many videos (certainly shorts) they have with high clickrate, avd, likes, comments but still no more than a handful of impressions and the answer is probably "zero". Now ask any small channel, and the answer is probably "dozens". I literally have dozens of shorts with 80% up to even 100% clickrate, over 100% AVD and that got some likes and comment, yet are still stuck at 10-50 impressions or something before flatlining and dying... And I get it. It's not me being frustrated or negative. My channel is really picking up, and I trust (and love) the process. But it is definitely helpful to realise the algorithm does 'hate' you for being small and use that knowledge to try and trick that algorithm into thinking you're somewhat bigger than you actually are... (and yes, that is possible! To a degree...)

    You explained that well. That is just life, and I believe you are telling us all just to expect it. We are all waiters and waitresses working in Hollywood. One more reference. I'm subscribed to nearly 400 channels. If I should search and watch a KZread on lanterns....Mr. Al Gorithm will suggest all sorts of large channels, yet only one or two of my subscription channels will show. Large channels that have very little to do with lanterns. So much for the theory of KZread suggesting what I want. I think KZread is great, and they can suggest the big channels if they need the revenue. I find most of my channels by searching. *My channel isn't that good, so there is no reason to recommend it.

    @CompetitionSportsNetwork

    9 ай бұрын

    why would you do that in the first place? Just post a link for the long video and be done with it. Creating extra links to it with a shorter version just makes it spammy! Algorithms like direct links to a piece of content, it saves time for the end users to get what they are after, adding a bunch of side videos or shorts does nothing but create more of the same content which angers algorithms which is why they have filters that push down duplicate content down in rankings. Maybe you should post to 25 sites or more to get results vs relying on probably 3-4 platforms like most people. Let me guess, you use Tik Tok, Instagram, KZread, and Twitter and that's about it? You have to do a hell of a lot more than that to gain traction for videos on any platform.

    I posted a video and got a horrendous CTR. KZread explains that this video is reaching a larger audience so CTR will drop. Is it normal to have terrible CTR's when your a small channel?

    I finally made some changes to my account with video quality and putting more of my focus on my titles, thumbnails, and being more consistent with posting. With these changes, I've definitely seen some growth within the last week or so. A big step up from where I was a year ago, especially after some time off from posting. I'm glad I've made these changes with some help from videos like this.

    Very helpful tips. Will certainly try doubling thumbnail time and less time spent on tags/descriptions. Viewers will never see this afterall of the thumbnails aren't working!! Thank you ❤❤

    The only thing I disagree on is that you should not focus on description box. KZread employees can tell you, and so can " experts" that Desc triptions do not matter. I have proven that wrong. Especially when my Main Channel is an educational channel that depends a lot on search. KZread is a program. It needs information to be able to know who test your videos with. So if you do not have a good description, and you are a new channel....The Program will have no idea who to test your content with.

    My small channel I feel is having an issue growing. I make a lot of cute and funny shorts with my animals. My KZread mentor who’s been doing this for a very long time I won’t mention his name because he might not appreciate it. However, I just had this discussion with him. Because my husband and I were feeling really unmotivated and like our content isn’t being pushed. We’ve been at this for almost 5 months now. And we only have 153 subscribers. As well, we have videos that my mentor has even said, should go viral, yet no they haven’t. But one of the things that he touched on is the fact that you need to be very specific about your niche and your title description as well as the hashtag. So if these things are all over the place, KZread won’t understand what the video is about or who it should be testing it out on. For instance, if you are doing a video about a specific animal, make sure everywhere in your title, description, and hashtags you use that animals name. You can’t be all over the place with them.

    I've tried a 101 video styles over the past 7 or so years with varying success and I am at this impasse where I don't know what I want my content to be. I don't enjoy very many things anymore so I don't really have much to have conviction with when it comes to the subject matter of my videos and by extension my potential niche. I have what it takes to make a channel work, I just literally don't have a clue as to what it is I would enjoy making content on.

    Amazing video worth of a sub!! Even though I don't consider myself a beginner anymore, I still remember getting started. It was a tough journey. Of course, things are a lot easier now and I'm super grateful that I didn't give up and stayed patient all the way through. Consistency and hard work (I have also used a little bit of Famester to take off my channel, I think it's a necessity these days and I don't regret it) is the key for small channels and, in my experience, always pay off at the end.

    español: uí están 5 puntos claves del video: KZread no impulsa videos para los creadores, atrae videos para los espectadores. El algoritmo sirve a la audiencia, no a los creadores. El mercado total abordable (TAM) es importante. Comienza en un nicho pero eventualmente expándete a una audiencia más amplia. Empaqueta el contenido de la manera que la audiencia quiere. El empaque puede darles lo que quieren, el contenido lo que necesitan. Dedica tiempo a lo que es importante, como los títulos y miniaturas. Los creadores pequeños no pasan suficiente tiempo en esto. Los datos son una herramienta, no quien toma las decisiones. Deja que los datos informen, no que dicten. Sigue tus instintos y empatía también.

    Does average view duration matter on a live stream which has become a vod ? I ask as I do live streams but surely KZread doesn't expect a high view duration on live streams which can be 4/5/6/7/8+ hours long ? 👍🙂

    When it is a *'How-to'* video, they specifically searched for, they only care about getting to the point immediately and if not, a chapter skip must be there, or they will leave to go find a different video on the exact same subject, within just a few seconds and the video you made will be in vain. An example of a search they need might be, 'How to solve the stable glitch for Red Dead Online'.

    One thing I also pay attention to is that sometimes I see videos that I want to watch but not at the time I saw it... Sometimes I save them to watch later list..but hardly go through the list 😂. Sometimes I am watching a good video and change it to a different one for reasons that doesn't mean the video was bad. Taking these into consideration with the analytics, I don't stress it as much.
