Youth barrel racing (under 15) kicked off two days of the annual Race 4 Cash competition which is normally held in New Mexico. With that state still in a lockdown mandate, the event was moved to Amarillo, Texas for 2021. #BarrelRacing #Cowgirls #EquineSports #Horses
This documentation may include several individual youth classes but each ride is presented in chronological order as they were run.

I run against the one that went fourth or fifth idk. But that is very uncharacteristic of her, normally she has quite a bit of trouble going in but, I’ve never seen her just lope the pattern. Normally she is just whipping and kicking with her horse all over the place. Anyway it’s good to see she didn’t have as much trouble as usual, I wish her luck wherever she runs next!

Time is on your side.
Not bad, Really good riders, always focused on the next barrel. I do barrel racing but my horse cuts it short behind the barrels and knocks them over. PS I am looking for some teal leg raps for my horse so if anyone has let me know on my channel please and thx

I had horses all my life I have never like to see spurs they do hurt and do damage but pretty good riders here

Most of them are good with spurs but I’ve seen inhuman people who over use spurs so much. That’s what gives them such a bad name. I’m happy some people know how to use them
