Thank you Dr. Lanre Olusola for your Wisdom! I am really impressed. I didn't know that Nigerian men with common sense existed in that country. I think I will listen to my parent's advice and come home. We need to CLONE you all over Nigeria. More GRACE to your elbows sir!

Well maturity certainly is perhaps the one key factor into sustaining a marriage!!

This is good lesson. 'Free your partner'. Also, when your perspective of life is same with your spouse, the marriage will work. The type of people who are your mentors in marriage, also matter.

Bulding confidence is also key. What i did with my children was to build their confidence. I trained my children to be confident to talk to me as if we are mates. None of my children is afraid to say this to me when i am acting stupid: ' daddy, are you alright?'. There was no restaurant or shopping plaza in the city i didn't take them to buy things they like. These made them to be so close to me and confident with their mates no matter their status. I remembered when i and my wife were in hot argument, my first daughter met us and said she feel like running away from home because we were fighting and since then i vowed not to engage in argument again. Then i also vowed not to reply my wife in whenever that can lead to argument to forestall argument and fights, even when she is at fault, or when there is an issue. Atimes when i knew that i was at fault, after thinking within myself, i will beg her. Atimes too, when there was argument, i will think within myself that, had i exercise patience or think deeply before responding to her, the argument would not have come up, so i will cool down and that was what i stucked to and i had a peaceful marriage. What i was always afraid of in my marriage was to know what my wife wanted when she is not demanding it and that was what my wife used to judge my love for her, and i unfortunately, i am not the type who understands body language and i always tell her to ask and i will respond. In all, i will say i had a peaceful married with my wife before she passed on suddenly and unexpectedly. I missed her so much that i am still grieving almost three years of her passage. Next month, Ocrober 9, will be exactly three years. A good woman, wife and mother, supportive and industrious and the one that gives her husband peace of mind in their marriage, is rare in this life and its disastrous to loose that kind of a woman. It is better one dies than to be alive to loose such a woman.

I will agree with him and disagree with him at the same time. I will use his own words to reply to the disagreements. I disagree when he says young people should not marry because they don't know themselves well but he also says there is no perfect age. It is true that young people may be too young to know what their 40 year old self wants but some people's lives begin at 50. I have seen babies in adult skins who are 50 and still mummy's boy but the younger one picked up quickly and is more mature than the first born.

PURPOSE!!!....the kernel in the talk for me. Every of our "successes" would revolve around the purpose for which GOD CREATED US! I differ on his standpoint of himself and his wife pursuing different causes though, especially because he is a Christian by the full definition of it, I want to believe. Where does "Oneness" of marriage comes in? How does her dream collapse into his? The carefully crafted "rib" was returned into the man!...in the beginning!!🤔🤔😚 Otherwise, and overall, a great masterclass there! So much to learn and confirm in there!! Cerebral ladies and mind coach there. Thank you very much and God bless you.
