My ' 87 E series has locking tuners. And a roller nut. No string tree. Works great.

On the baritone. I play mine when I'm playing with a bass and another guitar. The baritone gives me a great place to fit in the mix. By itself it is not what most people think they should hear.

They sound great. I have an '87 with Lace Sensors. I'm the one owner. All original (except the vol pot). Maybe time for a chamge.

with pedals you can make any guitar sound like any other guitar (with rare exception), So i like Guitar/wire/amp only (or as much as I can).

My "Stellarcaster" with all its tricks and features is just as cool in different way and for different reasons.. being totally custom in Oh so many ways from the Brushed Stainless Steel Pick guard to the fully functional electronics in it as I've told of in other comments I've posted to some of youe videos before you might remember or not.. but I have finished the cool and great playing guitar that started as a cheap Chinese made 'Starcaster' Strat electric guitar By: Fender.. said that on the head stock new.. but I got mine used at my local Music-Go-Round for less than $100 just before Covid hit... I bought it to mod the thing in the extreme... all done now and it Looke and Plays great... wish you could play it and see for yourself... cooler than most.. Wanna Play??
