It is so satisfying and enjoyable to watch you stick it to Apple like this. Subscribing.

I work for a repair company that’s part of Apple’s IRP (independent repair program) and we’re required to use OEM batteries, it’s so much paperwork and everything is extremely regulated to the point where if something isn’t to their liking we can get fined or even fired. It’d be so much easier to use one of these programmers but unfortunately we can’t, I fully support the Right to Repair but it looks like apple is trying to make it as difficult as possible for you to use aftermarket parts. Either way it’s always fun watching your videos and i still learn a lot from them, keep doing what you’re doing man

Can I ask what alternative battery you bought to use?

I only wish I had you to teach me how to do phone repairs! The two people who showed me how to do it did it wrong! They are an example of the quick and easy but crappy repairs. One day I hope to start up my own repairs but we will see where that will go.

I just finished replacing the back cover on my s20 fe. Only problem is that the bottom of the back cover is lifting off when I take off my case. It came with official water resistant adhesive. Should I order another set of adhesive and try again?

I figured you’d know this: Is it possible to replace the drive on my 2018 MacBook Pro? I currently have 512 GB of storage. Could I manually replace my current drive with a 2 tb NVMe?

Let me ask, I’m inquiring a battery replacement here in my country which is the Philippines. I inquired at a third party repair shop since Istore is way too expensive. But the girl told me if my phone haven’t experienced on replacing the battery, the battery health will still show up on the new battery they will use to replace my old one. Is it true? Don’t they need the “copy” device for the battery health to be displayed on the new battery?

Do you repair Samsung watches as well? I suspect having water damaged my display as it was partly green and everything else worked. I'll try opening it up to see if I can rescue it. Like your videos.

I bought my iPhone X from Amazon as renewed. But the weird thing is that from the inside it smells like it has been in saltwater for literally years. On the other hand my iPhone 7 smells like a puffy battery because the original battery decided to expand. So phones really do have an individual smells.

Ahh good old Spicy Pillow smell. Did that one smell like nail polish remover (acetone recipe) a bit? (I think that smell comes from the chemicals/metal solutions breaking down due to the heat from being used and charging, especially if we have no choice, but to use the Spicy Pillow (tm) phone)

at what percentage should i replace my battery?

What about the message for the display.. will it get rid of that too?
