Much like how Mitsuha and Taki grew up, I suppose my arrangement did as well. I try to be open minded and take the advice from the comments of my new Silhouette video. I wanted more energy on this one while also retaining the new elements in the arrangement. Hope you guys enjoy. Patreon sheets/synthesia for Hero Too and Silhouette will be posted this weekend!

Lets face it. We all made a mistake. When we first watched this, we had no idea what it would be like. we watched it on our laptop/desktop with earphones in. But, after we watched it, we were completely filled with shock. we never knew that some movie could be this well written, well executed, just so unmistakably perfect. Every time we rewatched it, we put it on the large TV screen with surround sound. but it could never fully satisfy us. Because each time we rewatch it, it can't bring back the magic of the original, the first time. you wish you could make every time you watch it as great as watching it for the first time. even if you watch it five times like me, you will never have the same feeling as watching the first time. I wish i could be hit in the head super hard, forget the movie, then watch it for the first time again.

I remember when I first watched this movie. I had heard about it on social media, and somehow I had a feeling that this movie was gonna be beautiful. As I was watching this movie, I had many mixed emotions. There was many things that I could relate to from taki and mitsuha's life and problems. As the soundtrack would play throughout the movie, It made me cry and made me happy, so I guess I was crying out of joy. I remember that the next day, I went on a roadtrip to California. On the way, I remember listening to the soundtrack over and over again, as well as crying and crying over again. But I realized that this movie has made me an even stronger and more creative person than I was before. I'm grateful that I watched this movie because it truly inspired me. Even though its been 4 years, I still find myself (even right now at this very moment) listening to the soundtrack and still feeling a roller coaster of emotions and when I think about....it makes me smile each time :').

Holy crap. This is the best arrangement i've seen so far. Other ones drop the iterative phrases much earlier, but you went the extra mile to keep that 3-note repetition by dynamically switching your hands. Breathtaking.

This is the type of song that will make you feel so many emotions at once. Truly a masterpiece
I really like this arrangement!
i still got chills just by listening to the arrangements. Going to remember and listening to this next year again. Hi my future self. This is from 30 August 2020. Listen to this masterpiece one more time. You'll still get chills.
Your original version of this piece is one of my faveorites. I just had to learn it! It was the hardest piece I had to learn and took me over a year of on and off practice to get it down. I preformed it for a recital at school last year! This new one is just as great.

Depends on your level I think. This one has added chords on the left hand melody which might make it harder, but if that's no problem for you go for it. Both sound amazing so you can't make a mistake eitherway.
This is incredible, the words escape my mouth when I try to describe how amazing this arrangement is. I love how it begins with a simple three note “sparkle “ and I loved how you switched from your RH to your LH and vise versa whilst playing this “sparkle”whilst also sticking to the main melody of the song (sorry if I didn’t make a lot of sense) but anyways thank you for playing this for us , times are tough and the world seems still at the moment but this has made me a lot happier.
Your piano compositions accompanied me through my 6 years in high school, and I still think your Sparkle is the best one. Thank you for being part of my life!
I love how the arrangement is so beautiful and gives me goosebumps as I am remembering the movie's greatest scene of all.
I honestly love this arrangement a lot more than the older one. This one feels a lot richer and more open. Even the attention to detail and musical choices were amazing. When you slowed down at 3:10 it was just amazing, and that with the parts of the movie playing in the background was really amazing. Even when you synced the last cord before the ending with the comet explosion was just that little more to make this feel like something special :) Keep up the good work Ishter! I can't wait to see what you do next with this new format!
I remember watching this movie back in early 2017, Your video of Sparkle showed up in my feed and since then, I touched my piano again after finding my new motivation to practice piano. Anime. And you opened the doors to it, which led me to discover other piano anime covers, making me more motivated to practice, discovering that someone was even more crazier at anime piano covers (*cough* animenz *cough*). So no joke, when my notification popped up at 2 am, I cried not only because it reminds me of the movie, but it reminds me this song was the start of it all of how I found my reason to play again. Thank you Theishter... for being an inspiration in my life through piano alone.
This is the best version of this I've heard, and I listened to all of them. Just the way you keep the 8th note tripplets going by swapping hands in the middle of the melodies...Absolutley Insane. Well done sir!
You made this piece even better. Thank you for playing for us!
god, i am in actual tears - it's been so long since I saw this movie and this just reawakened all these lost feelings in me that reminded me how much I adore this movie and its OST. beautiful, as always
I literally just finished learning your old version sparkle days ago. It’s good to see a different kind of arrangement always. Maybe the old one was arranged when the movie came out, I feel that it was more sentimental and pure to your feelings, while this version has more technique and skill involved. At the end, I don’t think there is good or bad music, it just different kind of expression. Good to see your hard work for arrangement. Always appreciated.
