The question I have is that is it worth the benefit. If it can cure cancer for instance but replace loads of jobs and cause unemployment, we would say " well humans can now live longer " To which the response would be " But for what ? " Though if it creates more jobs and can cure cancer my entire comment is moot. Not sure if we will have a 100% benefit from AI. No technology has 100% benefit. There's always a tradeoff.

For a few decades AI will help us live better. Than AGI will come which will make all humans equal and powerless. It will either help us relax all time or make us redundant in earth and execute entire humanity.
