"Authentic" is the better word, not necessarily confident. People can still be charming if they are nerdy, nervous, shy, or awkward. You gotta play the role you were given, in the mind + body your soul was thrust, for there you will remain imprisoned, so we should try to have empathy for other people's situation, for we might be suffering one day like them, with no one understanding or caring at all. The world should be more about 'collaboration' rather than 'competition', unfortunately it isn't. Life can be considered a "dark comedy" at times, so we should try to laugh and see the humorous side in the ridiculousness of it all.

Confidence comes from within.

A lot of people try looking like other people. They try to copycat celebrity looks. I think this is why I'm drawn to this channel because what does seem normal amongst women your age you tend to deviate away from. You are based in reality and have a keen sense of self. You don't overdo it with makeup and take us through your daily "be narcissistic with me" routines. You are naturally pretty. Even your channel hasn't changed. I figured you'd start copying others trying to find ideas by now, but no, you have kept it the same. You've stayed true to yourself. You really are a corker Keira.

COVID-19 gave me a huge boost in confidence. Why? We felt extremely vulnerable to the emergence of this new threat. We were insecure and scared. However, curiosity saved the cat. Before the pandemic, I spent months studying immunology plus the science of food and supplements. Let's just say most of my predictions came true. Lesson: while hard work can breed more insecurities (like when concepts seem impossible to grasp), persistence - fueled by passion - can overcome the insecurities.

One of the most embarrassing aspects of the pandemic for Me is that with my ugly mug hidden by a mask i actually got slightly more attention from people, especially young woman. Once the mask was gone it was back to being a human phantom for me.

Tromo, u know i think the world of u, but i think u misinterpreted her video. She wasn’t saying she was persecuted like Ann Frank. She was just saying like Ann Frank she is sharing her inner most thoughts and vulnerabilities for the whole world to see. That takes bravery. P.S. to this day i really only feel the fat shaming video hurt her reputation. That one was truly awful and hurt a lot of people (especially me). You likely don’t realize how highly offensive that is to a LARGE number of people. The video was in bad form and after reflection, she should have made the call to take it down. Just like she should have when she uploaded her “Fat Shaming” video. But this one from Sunday is in an entirely different level and much worse. It didn’t reflect bravery at all. It reflected immaturity, narcissism, selfishness and insensitivity. If she won’t take it down, KZread should. Again, it was in very bad form. We’ll just agree to disagree and leave it at that.

i have to laugh at Keira's comment saying "people want to look like you" lol... Why would anyone want to look like an ogre? Let me describe myself....i'm 5'11 and weigh about 255. I have ears that look like open car doors. A round face with a weak jawline. Weird teeth. Receding hairline. And that's just the top part of my body! I will spare everyone the details about my less than ideal body features in my chest and stomach area... As a man i don't use makeup. Although a few years ago my parents paid for glamour shots so i could feel better about myself and i really though the makeup artist did wonders with my comical mess of a face. I thought i looked surprisingly attractive. Well, that was until i was leaving the photo shoot and i saw two seated teenage kids making fun of me which made me feel even worse about myself. Why are human beings so cruel? There i was, wearing my best suit, my hair perfectly coifed (with my tips frosted for good measure), and my parents had even strapped on shapewear around my sizable hips and formidable backside to make them less rotund. But that didn't matter. Those two 13 year old girls saw that i was actually living life to the fullest and they were determined to make me feel like i was nothing. Mission accomplished BTW. To this day i have never looked at those pictures. Mostly because the memories of that day are too painful. And i know other people will tell me to stop being a sissy and be tough, but how can u be tough if u have been pushed around your whole life? U begin to feel its your natural place in the universe. I'm 36 years old and i still live with my parents. I have no friends, no girlfriend, i only have a job because of my Dad's pull at the lawfirm where he works, and even worse, i'm now on the downside of my "youth". From this point on it's only going to get worse. P.S. What keeps me going are my dreams, no matter how absurd they are. My favorite one is a fantasy i have where i take a copy of my personal diary and put its contents in a bottle and throw it in the ocean. Months later an equally misunderstood and downtrodden (but surprisingly beautiful) young woman knocks at my parents front door and returns the bottle, admitting that she was sitting by the shore alone one day looking up at the stars when the bottle washed up at her feet. Soon after she was engrossed reading my diary, hanging on my every word and determined to meet me so she could return my diary and admit that she had fallen in love with me while reading it. Soon after we would start a new life together, fearlessly gazing into each others eyes, and determined to protect each other from jealous bullies of the world.
