I was recently asked to do a video on setting up the timing. Although we've shown the timing process a few times the information has been pretty much hidden inside other subjects, so unless you're a regular viewer chances are you may have missed it. Austin bits, 2 smaller brackets pretty sure are suspension parts to hold the damper, think the rear...but are they the right ones for the car, I had trouble as recess for damper recall changed between models, the rods look like brake push rods. I had a ‘47 Austin 8
Old mechanics can’t hear somebody sitting across the table, but they can hear a tappet that needs adjusting or a carb adjustment

Ha love it!
22 thou' by the book, fully advanced, small lobe for the front cylinder, timing line towards BACK of inspection hole gives slightly more advance. Fully charged good condition battery should read in excess of 12V.

WLA 45 is a 6 volt system
hi the fuel tap on my WLA wont stay up for reserve can you help thanks.

Yeah, just a bit too distracting there. Small band aid will do the trick.
