Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
Today we’re continuing our round-up tour of the investment-grade wines with round 3 of our 4-part series covering the essentials of the great Bordeaux wines. Here are the key facts that you need to know about the incredibly age-worthy and fantastically complex sweet wines made in Sauternes, outstanding wines made thanks to a fungus that we love to call noble rot. So how are these wines made and how does it explain that they are so special and so thought-after? We’ll cover this as well as which are the top estates and Chateaus, as listed in the 1855 classification.

Your videos are so informative!! Thank you for uploading them!!
Sauternes is one of the underated wines in the world ( along with Tokaji Aszu). Thus prices aren't as expensive as its Bordeaux Reds. I always love d'Yquem and I try to buy a bottle or two each year

d'Yquem has gone up so much in price. At least I was able to try it once.

Hi, Julien! Thanks a lot for your work. I really appreciate it! Please, can you tell me about the next thing: the whole Bordeaux region, in fact, is placed on the rivers banks. So why these territories where the Botrytis lives are so little? I also have been to the famous Tokaj region in Hungary and I wonder - there are a lot of places around the world with similar climate conditions. So, is the Botrytis presented there too and winemakers just don't want to use it or is there really some specific "micro" condition that allows doing such wines?
Bought a couple cheaper 2 glass per bottles today for New Years 2021🎉🎉🎊, from Bordeaux area, but very good all the same..very Unique wine..
