thank you for another great video i have learnrd a lot from you about bloodsugar insuline etc now one question... i have atrial fibrillation...my heart is healthy so its caused by stress and mental stress they have me pills for hpb... to slow down the puls and bloodthinning but i dont take them because i dont need them in my opinion and... they say that nothing can cure this and it will be worse but i have learnrd to not trust the doctors and... that cortisol is a huge trigger so the question is what do you know about atrial fibrillation? and what can avoid the heartraces?

I appreciate your work, but if you are going to persist with this model of causation regarding insulin resistance then you should at least address the criticisms raised by Ted Naiman and Ben Bikman. You have not done that, and it makes your ideas seem out of date.

I'm a physician and I have to say that this was the single best presentation on insulin resistance that I have ever seen---by far! It is absolutely the case that conventional Western medicine has completely misunderstood this process, and virtually all the recommendations that are made to patients are the opposite of what should be done. I will be recommending this video to everyone who asks me for dietary advice, since it's a perfect way to understand how diet affects the body.

5 minutes in and it sounds like he’s on the right track. But he isn’t the first to say this. Robert Lustig has several lecture presentations on KZread where he explains all of this, going back to at least 2012. Lustig explains how every kind of macro is metabolized and what it metabolizes into. He further explains how the hoax research paid for by the sugar industry in the mid 60s wound up getting one of the paid researchers appointed head of the USDA, which led to the creation of our food pyramid and low fat infatuation, which basically every disease association and the AMA have endorsed for 40 years. That is at the root of why our obesity rate skyrocketed and metabolic disease along with it. But metabolic disease exists in higher numbers in lean people.

20 years as a diabetic, and I was at the end of my rope. My Dr prescribed more insulin, and I gained an extra 20 pounds and felt like crap. I'm on week 6 of Keto and OMAD, and I'm off all medications, and my blood sugar levels are much better than using insulin. I also never have my blood sugar bottom out, which was common for me with insulin. This works. In my opinion it is much easier than taking a load of medicine.

oh my God, yesterday I finally found KZread and your Instagram when I was looking for a doctor who had the same opinion that taking diabetes medicine didn't help my mother's disease at all, it actually made it worse, right? . 28 day ago I threw away all my moms sugar medicine and insulin injections and advised her to fast, only eat 2 time a day and in just one day it has been proven that blood sugar has dropped drastically and anemia has improved. The knowledge from the doctor made me more confident that I was right and I was even more sure that my mother was not sick. Just want to say, you are the best 👍

He said, "don't eat anything white." I took his advice and I have lost 58 pounds without any effort. I went from 183 lbs to 125 lbs. As a type 1 diabetic for some 30+ years, this advice is what saved my life, some 20+ years ago. Only I didn't have the luxury to watch it on a KZread video. Nor was there any medical professionals, prepared to suggest insulin was the problem, when it was considered the cure. Especially for type 1 patients. I was a brittle diabetic, meaning my blood sugars were erratic and not responding to insulin injections. I was put through the ringer with specialists, but eventually placed in the too-hard basket, because I didn't conform to their treatment model. Eventually told, it was just the progression of the disease - of which, I had a more aggressive case (ie: brittle). Left on my own, I decided to fast - as my body instinctively knew what the problem was. Only when avoiding the high carb diet, recommended for treatment, would my blood sugars stabilise again. I inadvertently discovered the problem was too much insulin, when doctors were prescribing it as the only cure. Which it is, for type 1 patients. But it's the recommended diet, that goes along with prescribed insulin, causing the problems. You described perfectly, how the medical diagnosis is framed within limited parameters. It essentially meets the pharmaceutical treatment plan, rather than recognise and work with, the body's natural predisposition to adapt. Removing myself from that dangerous loop, is what saved my life. So thank-you for verbalising the solution, in a way that recognises the cycle of it's manifestation. Hopefully it will help others, sooner!

First watched this video a couple or three years ago and got a lot out of it. Thought I’d give it another run through and I’m still blown away by the quality of the presentation, the way the individual elements are broken down into a logical order and explained it really is quality. I wish I could deliver my subject matter this well.

Maybe try beans again in another 6 mos. IR takes a very very long time to heal. Grains are prob never going to be tolerated once ur ever IR. And remember it’s not the blood sugar level that’s imp. It’s the Insulin Level. We can’t measure that at home as THAT would be effective! Go by how u feel after eating and ur cravings or appetite level over next day or 2. If none of that changes, ignore the glucometer.

My heart breaks when I remember my type 2 diabetic grandpa eating a bowl of Cheerios with water for breakfast. It was disgusting but it was one of the breakfast options approved by his doctor. I wish we had this knowledge back then. I would’ve cooked eggs and bacon for him every day if we knew better. Maybe he would’ve lived to see me walk down the aisle, maybe he could’ve met his great-grandson. We just didn’t know. He died an amputee when I was 18 years old.

The medical industrial complex's failure to properly research and diagnose and treat insulin resistance and diet and microbiome and sleep and vital nutritional deficiency issues (including those related to Vitamin D3 and Vitamin K2 and Magnesium deficiencies as well as iatrogenic prescription medication usage) is a major reason why psychiatric iatrogenesis is a primary contributor to the third leading cause of death in the U.S. (which is iatrogenesis in general). If the U.S. spent just a fraction of the over $40 billion each year it spends just on iatrogenic psychiatric drugs alone, for properly researching the issues discussed in this and related KZread presentations we would probably, Lord willing, achieve an absolute revolution in medical efficacy improvement and iatrogenesis reduction. You broke one of my long held myths I developed after my Dad passed away from Pancreatic Cancer 11 years ago. I honestly thought the pancreas just burnt out, similar to a car engine “over-revving” and having no rest. His pancreas was cut in half due to the cancer. My myth - He injected insulin into his body because the pancreas couldn’t produce enough insulin. At no stage was the word “insulin resistance” ever mentioned by doctors. Since he was severely under-weight, everyone was force feeding him to gain weight. Me included and now I cannot remove the guilt I have. Dad had some very wrong ideas about eating food and he would react very angrily if he heard something different. He was so scared that I would starve. (He lived thru WW2 and Japanese invasion in China). My brother and I had to eat a lot and eat even lots of cakes, etc as we were growing up. He hated sports - we had to study instead. If Dad was alive today and I showed him this video, he would scream at me and tell me not to fast, eat constantly, be grateful for the cakes he buys. (And to give up my career that involves sports and get an office job.) Even with all of this commonsense knowledge around, stubborn people like my Dad would hate this video, even it was obvious that his cancer was caused by sugar and wrong eating habits. It will take at least two generations before this knowledge is commonsense - I wish I could say I am wrong. I wish everyone would say I am wrong but just look at how we profit from food production.

Money and Capitalism is NOT the end blame as often pointed to. It is evil in the hearts of people that leads to greed and corruption. In other words, this would, and does happen in all forms of government and common everyday folk. The evil actions have been in the dark, and we need to shine a light on them and everyones own heart. Then and only then we will see truth.

@@miker7808 The people operating the system are raised and fed by the system. The evil is not one personal entity, is the system *and* the people who adores it. Long before Marx and Jesus there was Moses and his harsh condemnation of the worship of the Golden Calf (Exodus: 1-4, 6, 11-14, 21-24). Nobody needs the reading of the historical-materialist Das Kapital or the Christ's Parables to understand that the Financial Capitalism is the contemporary form of the essence of the Evil. But zombies are zombies, they can't know, by definition, they are possessed. And so, ultimately, it's inutile to argue with these walking dead.

Great overview for the layman, but missing one thing. Root cause. I thought carbs were the root cause for years, but there are paradoxes with that model, left unanswered. Obviously sugar is bad, especially fructose, but newer data is pointing towards Polyunsaturated fats (PUFA) as the root cause. Of particular concern is Linoleic Acid, and oxidized metabolites of linoleic acid (OXLAMs), but excessive PUFA seems to play a role regardless of type. Many PUFA are essential, but not in the quantity we consume the past 150 years. We now consume many times the levels our bodies can handle. At current levels, it is toxic. PUFA oxidizes easily, which is the core of the issue. One mechanism, though there are many: Linoleic Acid can become part of the cardiolipin molecule in the mitochondrial membrane. Here it is exposed to significant oxidative stresses, and readily oxidizes. Once oxidized, cardiolipin changes shape, creating a leaky membrane, and mitochondrial dysfunction. There are also studies on OXLAMs, including 9 & 13 HODE, showing serious consequences. The end result of this is metabolic dysfunction at a mitochondrial level, making one more sensitive to carbs in the diet. Carbs become the colloquial "straw that breaks the camel's back." Short term low carb is absolutely the answer for the metabolically deranged. Long term reducing PUFA, as this is the root cause, but takes time to eliminate from your body, I think the half-life is 1-2 years, though likely depends on diet. What contains PUFA? • Vegetable / Seed oils • Processed foods • Non ruminant animals fed a high PUFA diet( pigs, chicken, fish) • Most restaurant foods (seed oils are cheap) The stuff permeates our food chain, and needs to be eliminated. There's even evidence excessive PUFA one of the major causes of Cancer, Alzheimer's, Atherosclerotisis, heart disease, stroke.. This is the true root cause. Other doctors, researchers, and acholars to reference: Chris Knobbe Thomas Seyfried Tucker Goodrich Many more, but this is a good start.
